good light touch, a very promising performance. But the prelude can be more expressive... as Angela Hewitt suggested, the prelude of this F# minor is one of the 'special moments of the 48'. ;) Good job nevertheless.
One of the reasons must be that Emily is girl. There are so many famous boy genious in history. So, of course girls gets more attention at these times. Second reason in my opinin is because she is only a pianist. She/her managers can put more time to show her skills. Also she plays more popular music, so there are more audience to her. Also she is something like natural performer. She shines on the stage and kit is more like peaceful performer. But kit is definitely better player.
I wonder how long he takes to learn a song like this. He knows, I believe, 127 songs....that's about 1.5 songs per month since he started piano at age 7..but..I always wonder. : P
As much as I love Glen Gould's Bach, it would be impossible for anyone to play this piece more to my liking than what Kit has done here.

@flicfan416 it's probably a blessing to be spared excess attention at this young age so i'd be inclined to be happy for the fact.

@allegramente5000 Best answer. And you are right, exposure is good for pop music, but classical is talent, talent, talent.
