If you just try to run close to him and take his attacks, you can usually get enough attacks though to kill him before he does even half your health. :P
It was a great way to end the video though, wasn't it? Even when things seem really tough, if you keep doing all that you can, you'll get there. It was like an encouragement for all players!
Airman ga Taosenai was never 8-bit in the first place. A lot of people think it's a remix of Airman's stage theme, but it's totally original. Airman's stage theme was totally different.
Megaman 2 is a tough game, but it isn't THAT tough. If you start on one of the easier 3 or 4 bosses, the game is quite playable. That said, most modern gamers might have some trouble. Games of this nature just tended to be more difficult back then. most Megaman games are fair. Nothing usually too cheap. Maybe practice?
I agree. Quickman's lasers, the Wily boss REQUIRING Crash bomb, and a very small handful of those kinds of things are there. Outside of the few really out-there things, I think thing it's a "mostly fair" game.
If someone wants the full Mega Man experience without the crazy difficulty, I suggestion Megaman 5, 6, and 8. Those games are not complete pushovers, but MM1-4 do make them look mild by comparison.

I just beat this game yesterday for the first time. the bad this is about airman is that there is almost no way in jumping over his attacks. XP
Woodman's power is the only way to make it easier.
