All I want to know is how to turn my built in web cam back on. It worked fine until yesterday. Now all I get is a message telling me to be sure the cam is plugged into the USB port. Well, that is a bad piece of advice considering that my ASUS AIO has a built in web cam. But then again it tells me to turn it on. WTF, I never turned in off and even if I did I would surely know how to turn the dang thing back on. NO help I can find anywhere, not even on the tech support chat site. HELP ME!! Thank u
@Shazzyb0y14 You can't exactly identify it because it's a custom cooler by asus that they use on numerous video cards, nvidia and amd ones, kind of like the twin frozr ii/iii
so when looking for these blue corsair vengeance.. drr3 I found that every source (new egg, amazon, and corsair website..call these dual channel and the part number is differ from recent offerings of quad channel ie : quad chan vengeance cmz16gx3m4x1600c9, the dual channel labeled as: cmz16gx3m4A1600c9b .the last letter b for blue
the letter a in front of 1600c9b is on their dual channel offering.... and all listed supported corsair website newegg amazon etc... list quad channels exchanging that A for X ....M4X1600C9 ... the last number for latency, last letter for color...(no ending B for x1600... no blue... for sale anywhere...however asus p9x79 deluxe memory compatibility chart on website shows a kit cmz16gx3m4a1600c9 ..(the black dual channel) with no b .. but the same ram listing them as compatible...
I understand more dimms mean more chance for error adn 4x8gb being better... but I love this setup JJ is rolling... will this work as "quad channel" because 4 dimms are used with exact same sticks... even though they are not tested by corsair to all four work together... or does corsair... just label four tested chips as quad channel even though its more like "four pieces that we tested together"...
Hi, does this support the soket x? Any chance i can install a coolermaster Hyper N 620 cooler on this? Please let me know if this would be suffice cooling for the CPU with the TPU auto over clock. Thanks
Its probably a nervous reaction that he says actually alot. JJ never looks comfortable, he always looks nervous to me, especially in the newegg videos.
Thorough explainations. Is it possible that an SSD and HDD can be attached to each of the 6 slide in HD bays and end up with a potential 6-SSDs and 6-HDDs installed?
What a lame video JJ, any personal that is using this motherboard should know how to install a CPU and memory. Let's get more technical like what is the PCI frequency on ASUS motherboard.
@bsrufus Yes a 850Watt especially by Enermax would be fine they produce some outstanding designs with great efficiency. Thanks for the view and support.
I think he could be the new count on Sesame Street. He sure likes to count, at least up to 4.
Here, one two three and four. He had an opportunity to count to 8 but he bailed and only went up to two on the optical drive. I was impressed when counting the number of fans. 5 Fans ah ah ah.
That's a lot of "actually"s. About a 105 of them to be exact. I was bored had nothing else to do. I notice the "actually"s was spoken in larger clusters during a beginning to install something and then it slowed down while he's was still talking about that item until he starts to install another item and so the "actually"s occured more. Interesting, anyways, good video. : )
He says actually WAY too often. This really detracts from the video. I also think that he spends too long explaining how to do things. There are much more concise ways to explain the process while still ensuring that people fully understand how to perform it properly.
Depends on your configuration but the two fans that are attached to the raditor can either connect directly to the fan headers on the pump or you can connect them to the CPU and CPU OPT on the motherboard. Thanks for the view and support.
fans shouldn't blow air inside a case from the top... they should exhaust, because warm air tends to go up on it's own anyways... therefore when exiting the case, it goes up into the room, and not down, beeing sucked in again.... fail :)
Through alot of internal testing as well as monitoring onboard temps ( the board ) as well as internal ambient and even more so the VRM components the advised installation option is definately the best route to go to ensure a cool VRM especially when overclocking. The installed exhaust for the back of the chassis as well as ventalated slots ( PCI-E ) and intake from the front also help to expel / exhaust. Regardless thanks for the view and support.
this may sound stupid but would it be easy to run two of those gtx 580's in this exact setup, I only ask because I'm looking at building one and this seems to be the one to go for, )easy and efficient with the power you need) but 2 gtx 580's is always better than 1 right?
I have been researching for weeks and I just can't decide between building a 1155 or a 2011.The x79 is prob more than I need ,but if you are going to be new build idk?
@sturtze42 i would go with 1155 just because i dont like the layout of the new socket 2011 boards, the socket is way too big and i have heard a lot about how much power the sandy bridge-e takes thats too much heat around the socket for me with up to 8 dimm slots surrounding it, i just dont like it, ivy bridge will work in an 1155 socket also so there's an upgrade path, its also cheaper
Agree watercooling is a great optiion as long as you consider active airflow for the areas of the system and board that need it. Thanks for the view and support.
Ok, did anyone else notice that although the H60 is what was installed IN the case the cooler used on the external build was an H100? Honestly I would have used the H100 for the actual build too.
The H100 and H60 use the same exact mounting hardware no difference. The installation was just to show how the process comes together. The H60 was chosen to reduce the cost. The H100 is a awesome choice but really only needed if you need more agressive cooling. ( we noted this in part 1 ). Thanks for the view and support.
WTF?!! I counted the times you said actually and its derivatives... They were 186 times! New record you punk! You should read good literature books more often... just saying...
J.J please , I have no money now because of you... I can't keep buying all of the great goodies you have for us all the time, I'd happen to have a child to feed. LMAO
In general a user should always at least once a month blow out there PC regardless. Overall alot of this depends on the airflow and position of the chassis in your enviorment. In our internal testing i have found minimal build up of any dust or debris from the configuration detailed after 2 months of consistent use. Thanks for the view and support.
