Ah, my favorite band. Listen to Mills Bros, Ink Spots, Ella Fitzgerald, Andrew Sisters, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Dean Martin, and a lot of Django Reinhardt. What the hell happened to good music? all I hear on the radio now is: "ass, booty, boobs, nigga, drugs, cracka, alchohol, bitches, and sex". I mean honestly aren't humans supposed to become smarter over time?
@Atomic91 yeah i am, i'm tired of closed minded people on their soap boxes deriding art they don't understand. i dont even fucking like souljah boy, but that's such a stupid comment
@boaty2008 It's not about what society has done to music. It's about what's become popular. There is still fantastically amazing music released every day, you just need to find it. People grow impatient when they hear something new, so the same shit gets rehashed.
@boaty2008 This is a fallacy. Some avenues of music in pop culture are worse than herpes- sure! But take a walk to your local university music department and you'll find fantastic, talented, heartfelt recitals going on multiple times per week and most likely, for free!

What incredible talent these men had. As someone else here said it is sad to see what has become of music today.

That middle guy reminds me of an actor from "Last action hero," I think. Anyone?

That was freakin' amazing. If anyone on YouTube wants to start a cover band of the Mills Bros., I'm totally down.

@nhurtbeans God, reddit people are such losers.
They're so desperate to be known, popular, or original.
Unfortunately you fail at all of these things.
Go copypaste some more 4chan memes plz.

Watch any Souja Boy video after this and try not to cry as you realize what we as a society have done to music.

What movie was this from?
pdx1chris 1 year ago
It's from "Reveille with Beverly," starring Ann Miller, who's the gal introducing the Mills Brothers here.
