all PCs start slower than than IMTs and PMPs. windows starts more programs on boot than android and ios. Also those are the same number ATOS gave when they where testing the archos. Apps load 3 times faster if you incres your vertical memory.

You have the memory comparison all wrong. If the Archos 9 had solid state memory like the iPad it would cost several hundreds of dollars more to buy. The Archos 9 has a 64Mb hard drive which is slow, and too small to hold anything significant.
