to be honset you can see this coming. it's the same with all time travel storys THERES ALWAYS AT LEST ONE PERSON(THAT THEY KNOW IN NORMAL TIME) THEY'LL END UP SEEING YOUNGER/OLDER.

He looks like Luke, and used that to his advantage. Future Luke does not appear in this game. Klaus' mother (and Claire) died when Dimitri's time machine exploded, but Layton wouldn't let him see her; it was too dangerous. So Klaus hates Layton for that, and tries to get revenge on the world for letting his mum die, he slightly went over the top.

THERE IS NO TIME TRAVELING IN THIS GAME (as far as I know)

@Luketritonforever INCORRECT. Clive's parents and Claire are killed but Layton saves Clive from running into the fire "If you go in there you will die too!" Clive is acctully thankful that Layton stopped him because he would be dead if it wasnt for him. Clive just went mad because his parents were dead. He didnt really hate Layton. Ive already played unwound future.
