R.I.P JOHN BEVERLY AKA SID VICIOUS...nancy i dont give a fuck about she was the one who supplied him with the heroin that he eventually killed him! no offense to people who like her well nevermind i dont give a fuck what you have to say and if you dont like my what i have to say so if you dont then fuck you
@MBloodninja1 Sid Vicious' real name was John Simon Ritchie. In terms of Nancy, many people feel the same way you do, and in fact, I agree to a certain point. The thing is Sid was already drinking heavily and doing other drugs at that point. He had an addictive personality, and it was only a matter of time before he would have resorted to heroin. In fact, Sid's mother was an addict herself and actually played a role in his death; she was the one who supplied him with the fatal dose.
@VampyVixxen13 yes that was his real name after his father because his mom had hoped they would get married and live with them but in any movies or documentaries in the credits he went by John Beverly but yeah i agree with you but still she was his supplier and got it for him the first time and supplied it to him the whole time but maybe if he would have stuck with johnny and not nancy like he was doing originally he would of been fine because johnny tried to keep him off of it
@MBloodninja1 Yah, the more I think about it, the more I think you may be right. If only we could know what life would have been like if Nancy never entered the picture. Johnny seemed more focused, but had (still has) quite the ego, and perhaps he didn't like the fact that Sid was starting to steal the limelight. The Pistols may have eventually broken up anyway, but I'm sure they could have created a few more hits together. One thing was for sure....his love for Nancy. Love kills, right?!
@VampyVixxen13 yah i agree they would have broken up eventually but maybe the could have stayed together a little bit longer. Johnny didnt like that fact he also didnt like that Sid was coming to every gig stoned and drunk Sid and Johny also had problems with the manager Mclaren i think they would have left because of him Sid did love nancy thats why i dont believe he killed her he have you seen the documentary who killed nancy Sid was so stoned he couldnt have picked up the knife
@MBloodninja1 I didn't see the documentary, but I saw a few clips of it on youtube. I did see the movie "Sid and Nancy" and I absolutely agree that he didn't kill her. He loved her too much. I think they were both high as a kite when it happened. And even if Nancy would have survived, I bet she would have had no recollection as to what happened that night. If he did something at all, it was certainly by accident.
@VampyVixxen13 yeah it said that she was waving money around and one of sids friends said that a guy that was there came back and was smiling saying that nancy was dead and had her purse thing that she used to carry her money with
Kurt & Courtney knew each other long before '89 & he chose her stagename from an obit in '85. Kurt's brainchild (LOVE Kills) Sid & Nancy because music producer Mutt Lange brought INXS & Adam & The Ants to meet me. Adam & The Ants managed by The Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren. The title comes from Amy (my name) meaning BeLOVEd. "Kills" comes from Michael Hutchence recording the song "Speed Kills" for '82 movie Freedom. I even helped out on the song by Joe Strummer (mentioning Alabama).
i cant remember too......
