I love this Amy Winehouse performance. She was in fantastic voice and exhibited the ability to improvise that Tony Bennett has said he admired. There's a fierceness in her demeanor and a restored sense of self confidence here that makes you think she was going to be okay. Of course, she wasn't okay, and these lovely, simple lyrics express, as perfectly as any, something about her and the end of her days.
