@jdivergh22 In fact without bar it's harder for timing & reach AA or further but you can play without i was n°1 in french ranking of DDR league in 2003/2004 (stop playing since) & back in time we were playing with absolutely no bar (on Lik-Sang pad) & also in shuffle for versus & hi-speed were forbiden but i remind when i was doing demo without shuffle (still without hi speed) i never get better than a A rank so far same for BAG Max Period got AA only on Max 300 and unlimited, paranoia survivor

@Fleg well yeah I mean there are people who pass LoM without using the bar, sure. But I just meant that most people use the bar at some point through the song when they're going for a AA or AAA. Not everyone, but most people do.

When I got it, I don't think anyone else had it on Mirror. It makes one jump pattern easier for me, but the rest of the song is a little more awkward in pattern. So in retrospect, I probably would have gotten it earlier had I not spent time working on Mirror.

This is late, but I'm curious. About how long was it between the time you first passed this song, and the time you AAA'd it? I've managed to pull off A on MAXX Unlimited, Sakura, and MAX 300, but I've never been able to get AA's on any of those.

When you start AAing songs, you'll start AAing almost all songs of that difficulty. Same with AAA. It's a measure of accuracy.

Legend of Max has faster streams than MaxX Unlimited, but MaxX Unlimited is actually harder. The patterns are doable, but require you to use the unintuitive foot to start a stream, has more jumps, and more notes overall.

Legend of Max would be harder if it didn't have the easy parts in the middle.

MU is harder to Perfect Attack. To pass, MU is probably slightly harder. I passed LOM first try back in late '04. To A or AA, MU is easier. To AAA, MU is much much harder.

True. I don't have problems there, but without mirror, I typically get at least a Great on one of the jumps in the LULJumpJump, RURJumpJump part or w/e it is. Ug, but I want a working Extreme around here (Putt Putt's machine is fried, AL's doesn't register)!

I play basketball, use to run track pretty heavily, and play hard stuff on DDR/ITG. That's really about it. My biggest problem is usually getting enough calories each day. The rest isn't since I've been so active over the years. :) God bless.

I'd be neutral on that. Neither pattern (reg or mirror) gives me problems. I think the easier section is the double jumps around 200 in, the harder parts are some of the side shuffles you have to do to hit a few triplets in the middle.

Mirror makes a few patterns easier, a few patterns more difficult. I can consistently combo Mirror, though my Great count is about the same either way. I think Mirror is easier in two major sections.
