Cliff Richard became a song contest in '68 only second with the Eurovision. Now increase clues that the franco-regime bribed the jurors to help the Spanish participant to the victory.
Madrid / London (vr) - sir Cliff Richard was cheated supposedly around his victory with the Eurovision song contest in '68. At that time he reached "only" the second place behind the Spaniard Massiel who won with "La La La". A jury which existed in every country of eight experts and eight laymen interested in music awarded the necessary points.
According to a documentation on the Spanish television the franco-regime should have bribed these jurors to polish up the image of her country. There are proofs up to now none. But the clues are sufficient for the poor Britons. With delight they rush at an apparently long preserved trauma.

It is commercial poppy rubbish from start to finish written specifically for eurovision which everyone knows is a load of tripe the lyrics are trite and even Cliff knows the song for what it is........oh i feel much better now ahhhhhhhhhhhh.....of course the sound is off lololol ;o)))
Yes, these songs are written that way. But to tell you the truth THAT song contest was much better than the ones nowadays. I find stages changed into a circus arena very inadequate and dull - as all songs are performed that way.
At least I learnt 2 new words from a native speaker: trite and tripe :-) :-)
He, he .. Cazz is "happy" now. I 'm not mad about this song but is Cliff with his successful and un successful songs and this is enough for me.. But yet it's a hit. Thanks Jan.
