I took rapper/comedian/actor "Blowfly" (Clarence Reid) to a Los Angeles soul food restaurant. Blowfly recognized the great Roscoe Lee Browne in the back, dining alone. Blowfly was overcome with excitement as Browne was Blowfly's mother's favorite actor. Blowfly got up, went to Browne and introduced himself. Can you imagine--Blowfly and Browne?. Later, I saw Browne in a beat-up car next to mine at a Burbank intersection. I thought "What is this great man doing in a piece of crap like that?" RIP

A very distinguished, eloquent gentleman.  I had trouble remembering his name during his career and lifetime, but his face and voice were everywhere in many shows I had seen growing up. Now I will never forget him. Thank you Niko.
