  • @artsymorgon I'm going here for spring break. What are some good tourist attractions, restaurants, etc??

  • I live in Vero Beach and have done real estate here for 15+years.

    Well Done! Thanks for sharing!

  • Love Vero....hope to get there in the Spring. Relaxing!

  • I will be going there for the first time to see a relative. Does anyone know where you can rent a villa that is not near the beach? accommodation near the beach seems really expensive.

  • bodega bleu isn't there anymore, it's some chees

    y italian restaurant

  • @LtSump

Yes, it's there - next door to the Italian Rest.

  • seems really boring to me

  • @Queen7159 That's why we love it!

  • @Queen7159

girl u dont know vero beach. u need to go girl !

  • I was born in Vero Beach and never have seen the place. I left when I was 1 year old. We moved to Tenn and then back to Florida to Gainesville,Florida. Go Gators...lol. I will be back there someday to maybe hopefully find a soulmate...

  • any way there an new one going to open up in lady lake and have a great life

  • nice i live there my parents own a restront there call ay jalico

  • Great Food! I used to have an art studio a block or so east of the restaurant & had lunch there often. I now live in Sebastian, and go to that one.

  • We lived in Vero Beach from 1976 - 1987, when I worked for WGYL Radio. We LOVED it..and, still have lots and lots of very good friends there. Judging by the slide show...there's a tremendous amount of new things there. We were there several years ago, and couldn't believe how much the town had grown and changed. Our son went to Citrus School, and we were parishoners at St. Helen's. We've got great memories of our time in Vero.

  • It is growing pretty quickly. I just hope it doesn't become another Ft. Lauderdale! Tourists are here already & lots of traffic - believe it or not. LOL

  • Looks like a nice place, Whats the nightlife like here for somebody in there early 20s? Does it have good nightife and nightclubs for that age group?

  • It is amazing that we have so many talented musicians here. There are 5 or 6 clubs that regularly have live music - one head banger club complete with mosh pit - so I guess Vero is keeping up with the times.

  • @jn45672 Not much nightlife or nightclubs for young folks.

  • Great video! I lived all my life in Vero until 3 years ago. I come back at least each year. It will always be a part of me.

  • Born & Grew up in FL. Loved the old days. Lived there for 30 years. Now too damn crowded and too many materialistic people.

  • LOL. Vero is more crowded than when I moved here 10 years ago, but coming from Ft Lauderdale, it was like small town paradise.

Materialism abounds, yes - I used to laugh at neighbors who owned a Hummer in Vero - like what does someone need a Hummer for in Florida? Are we at war? It's just "look what I can afford" LOL We just moved to Sebastian & I love it here even more - also much less pretentious here and it's a friendly place too.

  • I moved north, really north. To Ohio. I'm a Florida Native and have mixed emotions about being in FL. Yes, it is nice, but I don't miss the fire ants, heat and humidity. I was missed by hurricane Andrew by 75 miles. What a close shave. I'll take snow over that.

  • I used to live there

  • I was there for holiday, the best time in my life!!!

  • The place got better once Christy left town.

  • lol good ole vero beach moving back tampa is worse with traffic I have lived in florida way to long vero I lved there for 24 but gonna be alot longer

  • The video was beautiful. I moved back to Seattle from Vero ten years ago. I wish I had stayed.

  • Vero beach the place to get drunk and party thats it's turned into a ghost town

  • LOL - I'm one of the ghosts!

  • loved it there as a kid

  • i use to live there but i moved but i just went to visit my aunt, she teaches at oscela magnet or something like that but i went to beachland elementary. its so quite and full of retired people.

  • Vero Beach is so boring. If you are under 60, you will never want to move here like I did lol

  • and i still dont kno most of these places

  • i live here

    ay

  • Vero pwns!

  • Thanks buddy,

Its been 28 years I left Vero Beach,

    19th Plc,

Flying with ProFlite at the time.

It was the most beautiful tenure of my whole life.

I still remember the 711, wabasso Bridge, and the Piper drive.

Thanks for putting me in those cuddled warm

    days.

  • What artisticly has this video response got to do with 911 ?

    Cheers.

    from,

    del-boy.

  • Huh?

  • LOL now I get it - the response was 7-ll as in the store! A guy from Vero had a video of his ride to work at the 7-11

  • Nice soundtrack. Being that I lived in Vero in the 80s, the sounds of Sade always remind me of my childhood there. Dodgertown, 14th Avenue, Citrus Bowl, Vero Mall, US 1, Riverside Theater, Crusty's, Humiston Park, Jaycee Beach, Ocean Drive, Ocean Grill, The Patio Restaurant, WGYL Hurricane Tracking Maps, and Quik Snak. Good times.

  • dead @ crustys being gone, vero mall gone, quick snack gone, the patio gone, LMAO dodgertown no longer dodgers LMAO

  • i just moved from there. this vid made me cry.

  • Oh, coolash - it was meant to make you smile! I guess you miss it here. The hardest part about moving is making new friends & before you know it, you'll love your new place too. It took me a year to really feel like this was my new home. Good luck!

    Thanks for commenting.

  • Your lucky to be in Vero. Have you seen First Church of God (Masters Acadmey) an publix and stuff like that? Can you make a video of the everyday things?

  • im going to be there in 1 day

  • Great! You'll love it here.

  • Nics, but I miss the RIVERSIDE Cafe?!

  • Riverside is fun! Live music, beautiful sunsets...still going strong.

  • Had a great time there. New Years Eve 2000 I proposed marriage at the Riverside. Married 2001, July 7th. Still a happy couple. Thx, Riverside,...

  • Congratulations!

  • Memories of Vero Beach... * Sister Rose and Eileen at St. Helens in 7th grade * The Pines * cruising the strip before they put in the boardwalks * Hwy 60 driving from Vero to Tampa * The old movie theater * VBHS and football games * Hunting for fossils over by the airport canal. * Checking out the girls at South Beach. * Fishing at Memorial Island Class of 81
  • Those all sound like great memories!

  • Show NewBlood lol :p

  • Looked all over, couldn't find any!

  • I was born and raised in Vero! Great pics!

  • Thank you!

  • I used to live in Vero... I hated it.

  • Oh, that's too bad. I'm guessing you are young & wanted some nightlife & excitement! Is that it? Anyway, I hope you love the place you are now.

  • man i cant wait to go back to Vero Beach

    Sea Oaks!

  • That's the Place! I had the name wrong, sorry. Glad to hear ppl are still enjoying the park. When I left Florda, a hurricane was on the way and it was partially washed out. Thanks for the info.

  • The nearest address is 2901 Ocean Drive, Vero Beach, Harmon Boardwalk was right across the street from the Real Estate office. I was hoping it hadn't washed away or was damaged in anyway. Thanks for replyin' so quick

  • That area now has a park in front of it called Humiston Park - there are wooden steps to the beach, and a parking lot that used to have Crusty's Pizza on the SE corner of the lot. I am guessing that's the area you are talking about. The hold monthly blues/ jazz concerts there there as well.

  • artsymorgan if u still live there could u post more of Vero I used to go to Harmon Boardwalk Park Is it still there?

  • I have only been here 10 years, but I will find out where that is and let you know. As of right now I need to ask a friends who has been here longer.

  • i'm going to vero beach at the end of the month. can't wait - first time i've left europe - not too keen on the 9hours flight though. looks amazing
