K.C.'s Crazy Chase (Magnavox 1982)

KC Munchkin was a big deal for Odyssey, they were selling systems because people wanted that game. I was the best game they ever did for the system, probably. I was very sad about the lawsuit, I recall. This game was decent too, but not as good as the original.

Actually, this is not the game they sued over. The original KC Munchin game is the one that was copying pacman. KC's Krazy Chase which is this game was released after the first game was pulled off the market.

The Atari 2600 Pacman game sucked so bad though, it should have gone instead of KC munchin.

This was my first video game ever. My dad had it and let me play it when I was 4. Wow, it looked a lot better 16 years ago.

haha i used to cheat in this game i remeber you could desing the course any way you wanted or dont have any course at all , i used to lock the Dratapillar in a rectangle and he would eat himself and i won all the time , haha i had fun .

Not exactly. The developers made sure that this game would have enough differences from Pac-man that they didn't get sued for it.

Unfortunately, that backfired.

Who gave a dayum if it was or not if they owned a magnavox back in the day. If you would have owned a magnavox you would have purchased this game to. And i have played it at a friends house when i lived in los angeles and we loved it!

odyssey got sued and lost over this game, it was too much like pac man... i remember this was a must have before pac man was on atari. the atari version was such a let down that this seemed more fun at the time.

Odyssey was sued over the first KC game - K.C. Munchkin because the mouth kept opening and closing while he moved - that is why he spins while he moves in this game. Loved both versions! Still have my Odyssey 2, for a good time, get loaded with your buddies and pay these old games with the TV upside down.... trust me - you'll love it

I never had this game for the Odyssey 2. I only had K.C. Munchkin. I probably didn't even know about this game back then! I was so darn young.

I wouldn't call it a waste, the K.C. games for the Odyssey2 were probably the best maze games available for the first wave systems.

It definitely is pychedelic, though.
