  • Again beauitful footage, wish I had the oppotunity to either volenteer on the WHR or model it.

    Thankyou for posting mate.

  • have they got it completed

  • Historic!

  • Top man glad to hear it, sorry if sounded like I was having ago just fed up with other people thinking its ok to break the rules.

  • Its important that photographers stay on the safe side of the fence. Railway lines are dangerous places. F&WHR Co is as strict on this as network rail etc. Its a fair point.

  • Out of intrest do you work for one of the railways?

And do you have a Network PTS at i noticed you were standing in the 4ft of a Network Rail line.

  • I do work for the F&WHR. I was standing on a public crossing and was also under the supervision of two network rail staff. I also had toe tectors on and a high viz vest.

  • Thanks again John. It's Glyn Evans's son Alun here. I always enjoy your excellent videos. I wouldn't have been able to come up yesterday as I've got a cold. Well done John. See you soon.

  • Glad you liked it. Hwyl fawr.

  • So wonderful. Along time coming but worth the wait. A grrrrreat day!!

  • superb stuff.

  • At long last, the moment we've been waiting for; steam crossing Porthmadog Britannia Bridge for the first time since the late 30's. Looking forward to seeing more of this in the months to come...
