I think you should put your hair up but keep your bangs out to the side and have a few hair out and curl them you have short hair so if they fall it will look cute you should try it. and as for a dress you should wear some thing that goes a little over your knees to make you look taller. Why don't you show us some of your dress you like and we can pick one. I have done it before I loved it, it was fun. Sorry its so long
