If she would have shot the intruder in the leg, there was a second robber trying to get in her house as well. Killing the first one scared the other robber enough to make him flee. Injuring the first could have gotten her and her baby killed if the other intruder would have come into the house. She did say they were stalking her and if they they would have fled they could have come back again. I don't condone the killing, but those men were willing to hurt an innocent baby and a woman.

Are you related to them, to know their true motives? They stalked her and then broke in her house with a knife. Why break into the house of a teen mom, she doesn't have any money. She did the right thing, the same thing professionals do. Shoot for the biggest part of him: center mass. Not only the easiest target, but plenty of vitals there that ensure he'll stay told. Plus, 00 Buck will take the starch out of just about anyone....

I wonder if these guys used the obituaries to set up her up as their victim? It would probably identify the husband's age and then go on to say he is survived by a wife and child and whoever else.
