Thats why driving fast isn't very good you could kill urself i mean how fast were they even going i wanted to know whos fault it was or was it just any other kinda crash there crashs are pretty dangerouse like getting hit by a train a truck accident the more accidents the worst!it makes me sad when it happenes cuz its pretty sad when someone u know (even if u dont know them)its still sad cuz there are people:(
actually the Neon did rather poor in the IIHS test, but it's still true that an offset head on crash is hard to survive because most of the crash force is loaded onto the driver. someone could also survive a certain crash in a car that did bad in crash test. a car really is only as safe as its driver
usually i go 10-20km over speed limit,but other cars go by like i'm going slow,even other neons,i drive a neon too,you wonder why,slow down a bit ,n,live another day.
Could of been worse,all 5 could of died. It was a long hot morning,one of the fire fighters had to be called off,because she was dehidrated,we went threw so much water that morning,we had people drive back to the station to bring more warter. we got them out as fast and safe as we could. My ambulance was working on the focus,and when we pulled the guy out and carrying him on the backboard sum one fell and he grabed me. i will never forget that..
Neon and a Focus. There was never a chance. Why do thy put such non protective vehicles on the road? Running into a fire hydrant would flatten those cars. JMHI
Both of those vehicles got excellent crash test ratings. They just had an impact that no car can protect you from. The crash would be equivalent to a headon into an immovable wall at 120-150MPH. No way you'd survive that shit
Exactly. No car can protect you from EVERY situation on the road. There are always going to be fatal types of situations because driving can be dangerous period. I have to say though, the few near-miss accidents that I ALMOST had were not my fault. I get more and more nervous about the complete idiots I see on the road these days.
We were t-boned by a guy driving 70 mph in a 30 mile an hour zone. My Mum was driving a 1955 Pontiac and we were all wearing our lap seatbelts, which were all that was available then. We all came out with fairly minor injuries. I do not care what anyone says about how much safer modern cars are today...when you are killed being t-boned at 35 mph. Modern vehicles just don't stand up like the real steel vehicles did.
of course the focus took it like i champ....thang god i have one

1. Heavy car is heavy. Light car is light. Simple physics.
2. Had you guys hit something headon, you'd be screwed.
Best thing to do is combine the driver's area of the 55 with the front/rear crumple zones of the 2005. :P
