  • lol mine does this withought my effort, it just rolls over and puts it self in a trance >,<

  • My bunny does this. When you wake her up don't tap her; if she moves too suddenly she could twist/snap her back x

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • Hey, be careful when you hold it. That kicking can break its back. Hold the bottom of its feet so it doesn't kick.

  • thats bad!!!

  • Anyone have any idea why rabbits do this?

  • recently i adopted another rabbit, i cant flipped her over or even carry her, she will kick the shit out of my hand and claw me even if i do it slowly. =( what should i do?

  • Your video gave us a lot of help when it came to our rabbit so thank you very much!

  • this is REALLY not good, what he is doing is causing an instinct rabbits have when they are afraid, they assume this trance so that the predator will think it is dead, then when it releases or softens its hold the bunny springs into action. basically your putting the rabbit into a state of terror.

  • @BeautifullyAwaken My mom agrees. I tried this once but frankly the whole concept scared me, so I decided to let my bunny call the shots. When I started stroking her she flipped back over so I decided mom was probably right.

  • Although I do sometimes hold her like a baby, when she is fully conscious.

  • thats so cute i should try with my bunnie =]

  • lol when i had my bunnies i always did that ! i wish i had rabbits again D:

  • That can kill you rabbit it slows their heart rate and it's very stressful and if they are like that for to long they will have a heartattack

  • i do this when i want to cut her nails, she always freaks out when i try to!

  • This is a normal thing for rabbits. Like Ericson578 said, the best way to do this is to cradle the rabbit in your lap. Also, please be very careful when the rabbit is struggling like that! A rabbit struggling while being restrained can easily snap its spine!

Most rabbits dislike being picked up, so they won't often react calmly to being held out and suddenly put in strange positions, at least not right away. Just make sure your gorgeous rabbit stays okay! :-)

  • be nice to your bunny, it obviously does not like that! Most rabbits hate to be picked up.

If you are going to put a rabbit on it's back to trim it's nails, I find the best way it to cradle them between your legs while sitting with on hand on their back (one person hold them down, another person trims their nails).

I agree with the other commenter, please return your rabbit to an upright position gently or they can injure themselves.

  • she's playing dead xD

  • You're not supposed to wake them up like that, it could injure their spines and paralyze them. You're supposed to pick them up and let them wake up then put them down. Having them flip over like that will hurt them.

  • Thats a gorgeous bunny, but when your putting her down, shes scared and trying to escape! I do that to my bunny for his nails and see when her legs are shaking? Thats not good,!

  • how do you do that? i have a new rabbit and i dunnohow to do anything with it.. help :)

  • i do that to my bunny when i need to cut her nails

  • aww cute lol

  • she camos with the carpet lol

  • haha, only 2 of my bunnies do that. :P The rest freak out and have a spazz attack and kick me in the face. lol Cute bunny. :) What breed???

  • yeah this is how to calm them. Cute bunny you have!!!! I wish I had a bunny!

  • but it on top of a car XD

  • that was wrong o.0

  • I really really dont think "coma" is the right word to describe it

    Do You?

  • sigh...lol, my mom is the one talking, i just lay down the rabbit

  • all i got to say it LOL

  • lol? I guess that works

  • ass wipe

  • have fun with that.

  • thats mean

  • so do you enjoy wasting your own time watching these "mean" videoes? the rabbit is fine, still got her today, it doesnt hurt her.

  • I have not been successful this way. I put the rabbit in the crook of my arm (held like a baby) on his back. Then i must pet his forehead and then his head just falls back.

Its trances are always light. He'll jerk out of it if you touch her stomach.

  • with mine you had to tap her a little harder, i have a second video on myspace ill put up here,

  • Very Cool

  • your really good at this, i try to do it but mr bunny freaks out any advise?

  • just lay him down slowly, sometimes they get scared
