To richardre06 - only my humble opinion, but I think Mr Borge showed greater musical integrity by enjoying (and helping others to enjoy) the process of playing than have a thousand other pretentious "serious" performers. And take a look at some of his improvised pieces and his work as a conductor. He was a great musician, and his "clowning" is a part of that.
