  • I own a honda civic hatch lol, im a homda guy with vw's on the side, vr6 is the best sounding 6 cylinder around

  • the only person who disliked this definitly has a honda civic hatch

  • Wow...this sounds really good

  • As much as I love my magnaflow... i so wanna switch to AWE! Love the increased resonance of this exhaust; the pulse sounds awesome

  • Is it ca smog legal?

  • @chiveshardcore: It is technically not California Smog legal, since it does not have an exemption, but you do not have to touch the cat to install it, so you are not altering exhaust emissions. We have lots of these exhausts installed on cars in California and no one has had a problem.

  • how hard was the install? will it just go straight in?

  • @chiveshardcore, it is a bolt on, no special tools required, but you will have to cut off your stock exhaust. That is easier to do on a lift, but can be done on the ground on jackstands.

  • VR6 engines sound GREAT with ANY exhaust. That burble sound is impossible to replicate in any other hot hatch out there.

  • is this on a 12v or 24v? I have a 12v and im starting to outgrow my Techtonics system haha need moar sound!

  • too loud for me xD

  • What size piping does this run?

  • @9stevo2 AWE Tuning's Mk4 VR6 Exhaust uses 2.5" Stainless Steel Tubing.

  • Will it fit on an mk3 ?

  • @Shawn103Pit It will not work on the Mk3, however we do offer a Techtonics Exhaust for your vehicle. If you'd like information on it, just message me.

  • is this a resonator delete as well????

  • is this a resonator delete as well????

  • @CharlieRiehman2 We replace the mufflers/resonators in the factory system with straight through units along with larger diameter tubing. We tried simply deleting the resonators but weren't really happy with the sound.

  • no more vr6 aka r32.... they got replaced by the r20

  • will that fit on a mk4 jetta?

  • @Dief7734 Yes, it will fit on all Mk4 Jetta VR6s.

  • i just bought this exhaust i cant wait for it to come in!

  • @LoganPowers Be sure to record a clip and post it up!

  • @LoganPowers Be sure to record a clip and post it up.

  • @paeurotuner v=TKuYEGfudU0

thats just a short one i took the other day!

  • its on sale until Jan 3 =) for $521 or somewhere in the 520's

  • Hey, is this exhaust system also available for the 4motion VR6 ?

  • any videos on the exhaust with it on a 2000 gti 12v?

  • I have the same same exhaust. Sounds beautiful!

  • where is this at? i couldnt tell what type of tag was on the GTI, i want a GTI so fucking bad

  • I'm a hardcore Ford guy and even I say that those VR6's are some of the best sounding engines out there. My next build is a supercharged Mk3 VR6 gti

  • Do they sell any of these in melbourne?

  • hey i need to know the answer to this question fairly quick.. can this exhaust be used with a mk2 gti vr6 swap? so will this exhaust fit on a mk2 gti? if not what mods will i have to make?

    thanks

  • Sounds sick! Is it possible to ship the exhaust to another country?

  • @Majkael Yes it is. Can you message me our email address? We have dealers in many countries around the world. We'll either sell you the system direct or refer you to the closest Authorized Dealer.

  • pure sex

  • is this resonated?

  • @marcelovw yes

  • Comment removed

  • that is LOUD

  • OMG I want this for my mk3 jetta VR6!!!!!

  • Go to their website its like $550. Its just a stainless cat back with a borla muffler. You can get the same for $100 less at other sites.

  • does it come with a down pipe?

  • got a mk3 Vr6 to;)

im deff getting this, if not im gonna run a straight pipe

  • dont run a striaght pipe they sound like shit when you do that. If you wanna save money just have a shop make you a custom 2.5 inch exhaust and buy a borla muffler you will get the same sound.

  • i bought a borla muffler with 3'' pipes and didnt sound close to this.. at all.

  • IDK dude thier site says its a borla there is more than one borla muffler

  • @JoshChadwick bahaha yes.

  • Well what ever it is. It is the best soundig kit for the VR

  • if your running a naturally aspirated setup you better make sure you have some back pressure for the motor. 3'' is for turbo cars. this is a major concern for cars, and you'll start having problems with valves etc without that necessary pressure. when i did my turbo exhaust and was n/a though, i did stock headers, catalytic converter, and a variable diameter pipe that over 6'' went from stock diameter to the 3'', maintaining the pressure your motor needs.

  • @JoshChadwick that sounds good, borla is pretty sweet, what do you think about eurospec or remus?

  • Not a fan of those. I like Borla the most Magnaflow second. Im getting a TT borla for my MK3 most likly.

  • alright thanks alot man

i will keep them in mind, all of the ideas see what ever works out

  • Sounds like my R32!!!

  • Can I just buy the muffler? I have a Mk3 and would love this sound. I have a 2.25 custome exhaust with deleted resonator and stock muffler.

  • is this the three inch

  • were can i get one of those i have a 1.8l gti and i live in canada

  • There is no exhaust for a 1.8l that will make your car sound like a VR6 Engine.

  • @NYEuroTuner i know this old, but a straight through magnaflow race muffler will do exactly that.

  • where can i get one? im in australia

  • LOL

  • whats the price of this magnificant piece of exhaust. and also, stock cat? or hi flow?

  • its like $570 for the dual tip or $615 for single tip

  • $579.95 for the Exhaust.

The car in this video has the stock cat. The only modification is the AWE Catback.

  • @paeurotuner can you give me a link or something where the exhaust can be bought, im getting an 02 vr6 gti on saturday and looking into exhausts, but id wait a little while until i get completely adjusted to it.

  • @speacialperson12345 You can purchase this system at AWE Tuning's website.

  • @paeurotuner ok, probably gonna have to wait a little, i just got an 02 GTI VR6 today

  • noooheaders would help, but you should stick with getting the cat back first, saves money, if u are getting somthing bigger like turbo, supercharger, or NO2, then get headers, unless u wana spend money to get like 20 more wheel then yes.

  • not on a vr6, i know 4 of 6 people that lost power with headers. Port out the stock manifold to get yourself all of 2 more horses.

  • yeah idk about that

  • Do I have to do any modifications before i put on the exhaust? New headers etc.

  • 12V?

  • I want one;... NOW!!

  • the headers weren't even done for this?

  • No headers.

The only power adding modification is the exhaust system.

  • wow.

  • unbelievable nice. im in love

  • i would its:

    #1=AWE

    #2=Magnaflow

i have the magnaflow with no res

sounds very similar but damn for a resonated exhaust u really cant beat the AWE

  • is this stock? and all just coming from this heavenly exhaust?

  • All in the exhaust baby.

  • is that with or without a resonator?

  • LOOK @ the pictures. Shows it clearly...

    WITH resonator.

  • VRSEX sounds killer...

  • OMG I want! But which is a better sounding system this one or the Techtonics?

  • I have a 2001 Vr6 and trust me. ive been looking to spend my money the right exhaust. and believe me, this is the most amazing one ive heard and the price isnt bad either.

  • damn nioce ! how much!
