@PeonSanders911 I agree with your comment & others: that the actor, Ray McKinnon, was incredible as Rev. Smith & that his speech in this scene is truly inspirational- it has much to say to all of us. I look forward to & will definitely be following Mckinnon's work in the future.
rev.smith was the most tragic/innocent character on this show almost every scene with the actor was amazing. and his death has me in tears everytime i see it
Same here. I think he was the only truly good person in the show. He had no personal interest in whores, money or power nor was he trying to convert people by preaching. He was simply there for anyone who needed him. And look how God rewarded him for it :(
