@BenTennison16 A few years ago, the ABC channel broadcasted an extended version of the first movie (Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone) and it included scenes that weren't in the version shown when it was in theatres. I remember one scene included Hagrid and Harry on a train while in London to get to the Leaky Cauldron, among others. It's fair to say an extended version of the other films are available/will be soon.

although some of the scenes have been missed out, i don't know what ones spesifically as it has been a while since i have read the books, but it must be hard to fit a whole 800 page something book in a hour to two hour movie time slot, hence the reason the final one was in two parts, if not, it would be very hard to include all the scenes that need to be included :)

I don't care what anyone says, from my taste, I think the first 2 films captured the spirit, the true spirit of Harry Potter to the T. I was disappointed with every film that came after the first 2 because the magic was totally sapped away. Azkaban was supposed to be the best in the series but it was ruined by director Cuaron. I wish C. Columbus directed the entire series, it would have made a difference.

@niamhieflemingo The books and film have different continuity. You'll also notice in the 5th film you have Oyster Cards and a song that wasn't around in 1995. So it's safe to assume that the films are set in the 2000s and the books are set in the 90s.

1. Harry and Ginny never went out AT ALL! They just gave people hints that they liked each other :( And the kiss scene was dull.

2. The Hogwarts students have Muggle backpacks for some odd reason :/

4. What happened to Tom Riddle's mother's memory scene?!

The fighting scenes were bill almost becomes a bitten werewolf. and the scene were hagrid jumps inside his house to save his awesome pet :D
