  • The flat panel you're currently shipping is not sticky on EITHER side. Pulling the clear plastic off the one side doesn't do anything. The only way I got mine to work was by making my red and black wires match the placement show in the video. Second, this kit does NOT WORK on the Flysky FS-TH9X without MODIFICATION. You need to cut away the bottom or underside of the top left hand screw housing under the board, then wedge the back light in between it, and move the panel to the left..

  • Italy : 14.99 euro troppo caro

    Germany : 8.07 euro .

  • @forzabariable greece 30 euro :)

  • second the comment below- what do you do with teh wiring harnesss- how where does the back light plug in/connect to the TX? thanks for your reply as I cannot complete the job without knowing

  • ''PCB Board'' lol

    PCB is Printed Circuit Board

so you are saying Printed Circuit Board Board XD

  • 2:26

  • No es por nada......pero la imagen del MINUTO 2:21 ES UN POCO SOSPECHOSA

Quizas es mi vista....pero la imagen se mueve un poco....

He visto programas de edicion de videos hacer cosas similares...

  • Thanks for the directions. However, as careful as I handled the light, the little LED board came loose from the glass. It was hardly glued at all! The sticky part on the front of the glass had also hardened. Anyway, I used hot glue to reattach the LED board and in each corner of the glass to mount it. Great improvement to a very nice radio now!

  • Very easy and fun to do,i didi it in 15 min TNX a lot...my 9X in now Blu.......

  • @LTF85199

    Indeed.

U just skip the part where u explain what to do with the wires.

    Dumb vid.

  • you never clearly explained what to do with that wiring harness

  • The backlight really is easy to fit. Ive just fitted mine. Only problem is even though the backlight works fine, my LCD doesnt any longer work and some of the potentiometers dont either.

Great job ! a 3 week old radio now knackered thanks to a $4 backlight !

  • So easy! TY!

  • Wow this is cheap compared to the ones you can get for the Spektrum Dx6i!! 1/10th of the price as a matter of fact!

  • installed a green back light. it looks great. i can see and program better. BUT it's on all the time. wish it would stay off during daylight. got to be a way to turn the back light off. ridiculous for it to be on all the time. definitely looks good.

  • @boywaimea all you have to do is get a small switch and put it in 1 of the 2 Wires that goes from the Harness to the Backlight itself (pos or neg) and mount the switch somewhere on your Case and there you go , turn it on and off whenever you want to

  • @wolfes1126 ok, thank you

  • Are there any backlight kits for surface radios such as the spektrum DX3R?

  • Only if this transmitter was in stock...

  • this may sound stupid but has anyone tried to mod this to go into a dx6i?

  • @ruffkiller I think the DX6i only has 4 AA batteries (about 6v). This needs 8v to operate properly I bet.

  • at 1:27 he says shit

  • @analysia02 sheet,....

  • That's cool Now they just need to make some Micro REC for the Radio!

  • Make one for my JR 9303!

  • Man i luv Hobbyking!!

  • Looks good Thumbs up for it...But the 9X radio is still on back order...

  • I've got to ask has anyone tried it on a DX6i yet ?? still thumbs up just for that price.

  • @startazz Most likely that won't work as it has cables to fit onto the Turnigy 9x v2 and come in between two wires basically.

I really like the backlight, gives a much sharper image in daylight. Comes highly recommended!

  • Really transforms the look doesn't it. I like it =)

  • Outstanding Video Hobbyking 5 Stars!!

  • how about DX7

  • Can you use that on a futaba 9cap or a futaba 8u super?

    J

  • @PC9JEFF

Exactly what I would like to know. I guess the only way to find out is to open up the back of your TX, and see if anything looks the same as in the 9x. Then order one, and try.
