  • "I just go day by day like, every day. Yeah!" Yeah!!! Well, looks like Alfred is no longer invisible! Thanks to Life In a Day! And good for him!¨:)

  • Yo alfred hit up the clubs man

  • But yet beauty lies behind truth, so we aren't blinded by truth first, but by beauty. Hope you could live well before your time is up. Or for that matter, for any of us to live life before our time is up and pass on... We should make the greater things of our selves... Best of luck, Alfred (Ryutaro-Nakayasu)

  • Alfred, Start living my friend.

    You still have time.

  • 4 BEST Category Eye nominate A L F R E D ... Brilliant "Seventy FREE NOW " ... King Alfred you've found him ... a Winner ... Alfred the Great 4the world is a FAT LIE ... yet you are very much alive ... ❤ ❤ ❤ + + + Deo Vindice

  • Thumbs up! He's saying: "My name's Alf, Alfred. A L F E D, Alfred. I used to work as a security guard. You had to sit on a chair all night (Laughs). Yeah it wasn't comfortable, you couldn't sleep. I do the lottery every week, and I can't win a penny. Nothing. I'm 73 now. I've got no family, I never married. I never bothered. I wish I had done now (Laughs) I've lived so long as I'm living now that nothing sorta worries me, you know what I mean? I just go day by day like, every day. Yeah."

  • this is bullshit

  • YO HE CAN COME STAY WITH ME ANYTIME!!!

  • i want to be his friend. But the society wouldnt let me

  • OMG... this is so cliche

  • @mariano26788 worst thing is I can't understand what he's saying with that accent

  • FUCK THE GOVERNMENT it's those assholes that are doing this to people making them homeless. my family is struggling. everyones family is struggling because of the government big jokes. all they care about is money no helping the country. slobs wasting our money just so they can "make everything better for everyone" big lies.

Thumbs this up Britian for they are a Big LIE

  • i overheard the rantings of an old drunkern man today, very similar to alfreds. cept he kept on repeating throughout 'its a funny old world' 'lifes tough aye' kinda putting off the seriousness as easy come, easy go. but i see these types of people as victims of society, no wonder, when our cultures are spinning so out of control and the followers keep getting more arrogant as they go, leaving people like this, vunerable to all the madness and casted into shadows of existence

  • @oli0880 Casted into the shadows of existence? Is this thought to be bad? Well he seemed content with life and pretty happy. Who are we to judge? A large amount of unsatisfied people seem to take solace comparing their lives, the things they have and the things they do.

But I think how you feel is most important. Whatever your situation, if you're happy with it then that's brilliant.

    Just thinking out loud...

  • I SHALL BUY THIS MAN A PINT

  • @TheGrawp MY NAMES ALF..... ALFRED

  • i feel really sorry for him.

  • The poor, the sick, the tired and the down-and-out are ignored. If these human beings are even noticed, they are scorned instead of looked after. As the generations continue to pass, what stopped humans from being the one thing that is a hallmark of humanity: compassionate?

  • he spelled his name wrong

  • i hope he will be better !

  • thumbs up if this video made you think about alfred chicken

  • I wanna have a sit down with this man. The things he said in the video really were inspiring!

  • All the lonely people, where do they all belong?

  • You misspelled his name, its Alfed, A - l - F - E - D. He even said it himself.

  • @nowaythen You misspelled it as well; he spelled it A - L - F - E - D.

  • who the hell thumbed down this video?

  • Jeii. Savējais.

  • Apsveicu Oskaru! Nez vai vēl kāds latviešu garadarbs būs ieticis filmā. :)

  • Great look into a life you'd usually just pass on by.

  • these are boring as fuck

  • @SargentandGreenLeaf So are you. Your life is dull and meaningless, and no one gives a damn. We don't care if you live or die, and if I were to see you a starved, atrophied corpse on the side of the road, I'd make an unpleasant face and mutter to myself about how you ruined my nice day with your stench.

Is that what you want to hear? Give a fuck, you're one person. There are six billion more, all of them just as alive as you.

  • OMYgoodness I know that guy!!! I see him all the time on the bus!! Haven't seen him recently thou....awesome!!XD

  • I want his nose!

  • Alfred is Arabic name,

  • @XillGaming : Absolutely not.

  • @XillGaming No it isn't I would know. And why does it matter anyways?

  • I bet a conversation with him would be awesome.

Who knows how many people are like that, yet people walk on by?

Makes you want to give them a meal and a place to sleep.

  • BAH-HUMBUG!

  • @jerryboy219 Looks like Ebenezer Scrooge

  • Watch they just used one of the cameramen as the guy speaking and filmed that guy "Alfred" without him knowing XD

  • He spelled his name wrong....But he is still my hero.

  • those legs at 0:47-0:48 are really hot :D

  • @gevleugeldeKiwi those black (leggings) ones, not the brown :)

  • I want to be this man's friend.

  • @CharlottePanicked he'd probably hate you

  • go home!

  • I can't wait to see this film. 24 hours is one day in my life but to someone else, somewhere else it's love, it's life, it's death, it's laughter, hate and despair, injustice and survival. Rich and diverse beautiful threads that are sown into the tapestry of human life.

  • So is he homeless?

  • Oh, and this video made me happy. His line "nothing worries me now" makes me feel... relief.

  • You seriously couldn't understand him? Clear as day!

  • That was really awesome... really touching, man. Thanks.

  • Thanks for the translation.....his accent was too crazy.

  • Hard to undertand him. Is he from England?

  • @MrAndyCarlos Yeah, from North London it sounds like, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

  • @crazypianolady Thanks.

  • @raynard88666 What in the hell is wrong with you? You're the disgusting filth. Shove your words up your ass, because as far as I'm concerned, no one would like to join such an abomination.

  • @FYIiBite good thing no one thinks much of what you have to say. i how ever influence many with my words of hate and pride. i couldnt expect you to understand. you are far to lost to the cause.

  • Aw this makes my heart all sad

  • Your vids are amazing!

  • i live above a cafe in san francisco

there are at least 7 people i know of that are real characters

sometimes all in cafe at once

    several have functional,signifigant mental disorders

    its a real education

this man looks interesting, but isnt coming off as a "character" in this clip

    the concept seems cool

  • This is life....everyone has a story to tell...this is a really great clip...leaves you wanting to know more.

  • Wow~ This Clip is Brilliantly Done~!!!

  • im gonna be the happiest person ever when im older

  • looked great what did you shoot that on?

  • Well done!

  • He looks like ebenezer scrooge

  • seems like such an interesting old man, but i feel sad for him, i'd love to be his friend :(

  • @sahiramemon1 Same here man... Same here... The worries of this world is just to grief, and yet people live like if nothing has ever happened. Nor do they care to know why, we are flawed f not adapting to new concepts or even the concept of helping others sometimes when they are in need. Its a damn shame that people have to live like this sometimes, and its mostly the kind at heart that have to settle with this nonsense... The world can be a unreasonably cruel sometimes.

  • I like dis video

  • I think this is great. I understood him easily and I live in US. If you listen with complete focus, as if he was standing here in the room with you, maybe that makes it easier. I like this Life I A Day series a lot. But then, I think people are worthwhile and interesting in general.

  • su cara se parece a los testículos de un burro

  • @xboxrat puta madre

  • How many people on our world live lives like this? And they're virtually invisible. No one cares about them.

  • @eternitarian millions...

  • @d3tach3d Billions, actually. And most are worse off than him.

  • @eternitarian u would be surprised bro..way more than u think

  • @eternitarian

I care about them, i see them as unfortunate human beings..

  • Bravo...we must share the people of this world with the rest of the world.

Open some eyes along the way.

  • money wouldnt change anything,he needs social interaction and a cuppa tea

  • I don't know whether it depends what English accent you are used to. I am Southern English and I understood this perfectly.

I like the video ^^ Kinda sad in a way tho :/

  • I understood everything he said. I think he's speaking clear enough. Dunno why so many people had a problem understanding what he said in the video. Was a uite good short clip too

  • If there a reason they zoomed in on his crouch at the start?

  • interesting video, quite sad though:(

  • poor fellow :( thats sad..

Yeah."
  • @pentegom you get thumbs down for asking for thumbs up

  • @run3sc4p31sk00l actually, asking for thumbs up is the best way to get this comment first in the page, which helps poor foreigners like me understand what he says :)

  • @run3sc4p31sk00l I don't personally care about thumbs up, just that so many people wanted it it's best if they get to see it, yes?

  • @pentegom You have a gift!!

  • @pentegom thanks!

  • I can understand what he's saying, and I'm from Canada.

Subtitles would ruin this piece of film....

  • thoughtful, profound, well done.

  • if he is homeless i fell so sorry

  • Amazing!

  • i dont think he can walk, that is why it shows all the prople walking

  • I would really want to know what he's saying, please put some subs (:

  • I find it rather interesting to see the world as someone else sees it (through their eyes). We all have a uniqueness about us.

  • do all these clips have to be fucking depressing ? man .. i dont want to get a stomache ache watching this movie i hope its not like that. why dont they show some like.. happy families with newborn babies or some shit good lord

  • A L F E D=alfred:D

  • Alfred is one homeless mother fucker...

  • :( horrible that this has to happen. Great people like this deserve more.

  • put some legends

  • great!

  • I can't tell half of what he's saying...

  • @FZmustacheFZ Seriously? I'm Dutch so English isn't even my first language and I can understand him...

  • @Elinious Not ALL people in the world speak/understand English the way English speaking people do, especially if English is not their first language. There are different accents and shit. Some people are just mumbling or eating their words when they speak and they don't pronounce words as it should be. So it's totally understandable that some hardly catch what this old guy were saying. Also, other people's sense of hearing is not as sharp as yours.

  • @nikkijaneallison That's what I was saying, not all people in the world speak English (as a first language). I learned it in school and on the internet. I am just saying that I find it surprising that he (FZmustachFZ) doesn't understand it while (according to his YouTube profile) he is American thus making English his first language and I can, while English isn't my first language!

I didn't mean it in any other way than that I was surprised to hear that from an English speaker. That's all.

  • @Elinious I understand you. I didn't know he's from USA but that's not really the case. Like I also said, there are different English accents. Even if a person's first language is English, it doesn't mean all of them can easily understand the rest of the accents. The pronunciation, sound and the delivery of words vary from different English speaking countries. Not to mention, if the person is very old, has an illness like Parkinson's, or even just lisp it would be harder to catch up for some.

  • @Elinious Anyways.. I don't have anything against you, just saying. :) Merry Christmas!

  • @Elinious yeah, his thick accent was just a bit hard to understand. I had some assumptions. someone transcribed it though, so it's all good now.

  • @FZmustacheFZ it's the thick accent. They could used what @pentegom said to do subtitles.

  • @FZmustacheFZ It's really easy to understand him.. o-o;

  • God help him and bless him.

  • this is cool!

  • What's this? O.o
