The shoulders very obviously do not lead the action. Watch how his hands separate down the plane from his right shoulder. That's how you keep from coming over the top and how you get a nice shallow approach into the back of the ball. i had my swing analyzed the other day and one thing we saw immediately was that my right arm/elbow was really lagging behind. Now I'm more aware of how golfers like tiger really get that elbow inside on the swing.

Hank helped Tiger draw the ball even more easily than before...his swing is flatter and he releases the club more now=easier to draw the ball....trust me, after seeing Tiger warm up for several tournaments recently, his draw is now more pronounced than ever....he doesn;t hits high cuts when he misses w/ Hank...he hits BLOCKS....big difference..

@jacobhdum Not true at all! The draw is the most powerful shot but majority of tour players would rather work the ball left to right because its easier to control. If you don't hit the ball 300 like a lot of tour players it's hard to grasp this concept because the harder you hit the ball the more spin you get and when hit the ball at over 110 mph and miss it left the result is usually 10x worse than right.
Tiger's and Rory's swings are both excellent. They wouldnt be nearly as good without great swings. However, tiger's is much more efficent, he is thowing his shoulders open and cranking his shoulder joints like rory does. In a couple of years Rory will have shoulder,elbow, and back problems. TIger's swing is very injury proof. People think his knee is mesed up because he torques it, that isnt true. If you read about it, he actually tore his acl jogging after the british open in 2007.

No a draw because of swing plane...the man doesnt like seeing the ball go right...its his miss, especially when he tries to fade it and end up hitting the double cross....More importantly he has said many times he prefers to hit the fade off the driver...O well cant reach all of them.

look at his right heel and how it lifts up exactly when he shifts weight during the downswing. So perfect, so precise. Like robin Williams said: "Black athletic ability, Buddhist concentration...!!!".

You can see how the shaft is above the right forearm coming down, and at impact you can see that the face is open as a result of the position of his right forearm. And in the take away you can see how he takes the club back on an outside path to promote the power fade.

Hank helped Tiger draw the ball even more easily than before...his swing is flatter and he releases the club more now=easier to draw the ball....trust me, after seeing Tiger warm up for several tournaments recently, his draw is now more pronounced than ever....he doesn;t hits high cuts when he misses w/ Hank...he hits BLOCKS....big difference..

@wishazoftreachery o really? all golfers slide there hips? if every golfers slide there hips they would freaking shank the ball on the time wtf are you talking about your suppose to rotate your hips on one pivot not slide and the pivot check all the videos of the "greats" and when i mean tiger sliding his hips in his 2009-2010 swings i mean he really does slide his hips and nothing else just a slide

Tiger hits a draw because that is the most powerful shot in golf. If you pay attention to many professionals, lots of them hit draws.

@jacobhdum Not true at all! The draw is the most powerful shot but majority of tour players would rather work the ball left to right because its easier to control. If you don't hit the ball 300 like a lot of tour players it's hard to grasp this concept because the harder you hit the ball the more spin you get and when hit the ball at over 110 mph and miss it left the result is usually 10x worse than right.

Tiger's and Rory's swings are both excellent. They wouldnt be nearly as good without great swings. However, tiger's is much more efficent, he is thowing his shoulders open and cranking his shoulder joints like rory does. In a couple of years Rory will have shoulder,elbow, and back problems. TIger's swing is very injury proof. People think his knee is mesed up because he torques it, that isnt true. If you read about it, he actually tore his acl jogging after the british open in 2007.
