Thanks for posting this as its always interesting and fun to see other people's takes on our event and guests.

I must admit to being confused about your "look of hate" thing however, regardless of the look, I have NEVER worked with a more professional or giving guest at Supanova than Jared.

Considering how he could have been, to how he was, I can't speak more highly about him.

As for Jewel, she saved us by being available at very short notice when her co-star couldn't make it. She's lovely.

I don't know, there was just that point where Jared looks straight at the camera and then the smile fades. I think it's just me being paranoid. He was a delight! When I took my photo with him my brothers and sisters came on board and he was great with the whole thing. The end result is strange though because it looks like a family photo.

Good job on getting Jewel in. She was lovely, I could have stared at her the whole day and Nichelle Nichols was perfect.

Perhaps "hate" is a bit strong. "Annoyed" maybe?

Thank you for posting this, I'd like to point something out though - I can honestly tell you that Jared does not have one mean bone in his body, I've met him a few times now and I can assure you that he did NOT have a look of hate on his face, that is just not who he is! He was however suffering from jetlag on Saturday morning due to flight delays, etc. But after several caffeine hits he was putting on a brave front!

That was Jewel Staite. Trust me, she was nothing like a bitch. She was pretty cool.

I can vouch for that. Met her twice, first time before I knew who she was and the second time after I had become a big fan of Firefly and especially her character. Jewel's fantastic. So sweet and funny as hell.
