I bought GTX 460 Superclocked Edition and my eyes got owned when i saw it's performance on BF3, Black Ops, Crysis, Crysis II, and other games. All set in Ultra 1920x1080.

The score of it was 7.6

But i downloaded a new driver, version 285. And i think i saw a little Lag after installing the driver (5-10 fps below) and yeah, before installing it, BF3 ran at 50fps and now it runs at 20-35 fps. Plus, i updated the score of the video card and now it's set on 6,9.

WTF should i do?

@ZbKiT Hi .. yeah actually GTX460 is a very good card and works even better with good intel procesor e.g. You can uninstal drivers and clean them with some driver cleaner and than instal the previous :) if you want

I did the same mistake and bought a shitty PC for 800$ with a 2.8 Ghz CPU and a GT230. Can't even play Minecraft smoothly, but that's a problem of Java.

Ok so my spec: i3-2100 cpu, 8gb ddr3 1600mhz kingston ram, geforce gtx 460 gfx card, the 768mb version. Mods: enb series 0.79 sora with fonia5's settings little bit modified by me, icenchancer 1.3, road texture mod, thats all. Graphics are awesome, and the ingame speed is about 28 fps, enough for me. But with fraps I got only about 11, not uploadable in my opinion. Do anyone know a better video recorder than fraps, that lets you earn more fps?

And one very important thing for laptops = get/loan a high pressure air pump and blow air through your computers fans, also you can turn up fan speed and make sure you get enough room under your computer for it to cool. (antivirus is completely safe, just make sure to check where the viruses are from, or else you might, if very unlucky destroy animportant program)
