  • Nice vid man, i don't think people appreciate how strong us gymnasts really are. I'm gonna upload a strength vid like this in about a month or so, need to get a shot of planche before i blow my wrist up

  • Nice man ..

  • Shame about the nigger music.

  • @SpartanPict 'Nigger' music? This is Eminem's song; he is notoriously white in case you hadn't realised..

  • @natcomber13 He's what's called a 'whigger'. And he's a retard as a result.

  • Can you guys please comment or like this if you think I should make another strength video this year? I sort of accidentally started filming one today, but I haven't got that much better since this..? let me know what you think :)

  • @natcomber13 yea your strength and flexibility vids are amazing.. i really need to work on flexibility ha.. there's not that many gymnastics facilities for boys in dublin so only get 2 to 3 days a week max training :(

  • @andyfulcher haha, I don't think I've ever trained more than 3 times a week in a gym regularly :) You just have to do other stuff to supplement it (like what you see in this video)

  • What's the movement in 2:03 called? If i remember right Vellu used that in the final of this years big trick.

  • @fromWinland I call it a chest roll, or rock to handstand; and yeah he did something similar and then snapped down and tumbled through to a double back :)

  • Do you just train at home? I've begun training gymnastic type conditioning with the help of coach cristopher sommer's book "building the gymnastic body" and his website "gymnasticbodies com" but i'm looking for a place around me that has parallel bars and a horizontal bar. Do you always train like you did in the video or do you train in a gym and this was just an exhibition?

  • @ConnorRunsFree yeah I train in a fully equipped gym, there is no reason why you can't learn everything in this video without a gym though :)

  • wanna uhhhh i dont know.. join my freerunning team perhaps?

  • shouldn't conditioning be done every single day since it's only your body weight? 0.o

    Except resting on the weekends?

  • @jrk987 depends; I have lots of other things in my life (including other areas of gymnastics such as tumbling and trampolining) which mean that particularly during the summer, i don't condition every day. If you want to gain incredible strength but nothing else, then yes you would do this everyday

  • @natcomber13 if you've been doing gymnastics for 7 years now, why haven't you gotten a solid planche yet? or handstand push ups?

  • @jrk987 some people train their whole life and don't get a planche, everyone progresses at diferent rates; strength is not my main priority i just do it when it's cold

  • @natcomber13 What?! I've heard that the planche is attainable within a year's consistent training, but if you don't prioritize strength, how can you excel in competitions? I mean which is harder an iron cross or a planche (on floor and rings)?

  • @jrk987 Yes, but you're not getting my point. You CAN get a solid planche in a few months if it is your absolute priority; if you workout everyday, if you follow a well thought out diet plan and if you are genetically blessed in that way. However, most people, including myself, have many other priorities in life aside from their training; I go out, I drink, I eat shit, I spend time with my family and friends, and even within gymnastics strength is not my priority as I've already said.

  • @natcomber13 wait but which is harder though planche (on rings or floor) vs the iron.inverted cross?

  • @jrk987 planche on rings is harder than on floor, and i would say inv.cross is hardest

  • @natcomber13 Oh please, jrk987 is just a troll. This is the same twat that went around using a stolen planche video claiming it was himself until the real owner of the vid busted him and called him out.

  • omg i want to do a press hand stand bekuz i am a gymnast but that looks to hard what shoukd i do!!!!!!!

  • @MsGymnast1000 Go see the tutorial on his channel....and give it a go! :D

  • haha your straddle press is rock on!

  • shit you have a strong body!

  • i like the part 00:10

  • what's the name of the song ?

  • @ijcp3304 So Bad by Eminem

  • @natcomber13 thanks ! :)) i watch ur video everyday ... specially the aerial tutorial ... im looking forward to aerial :)))

  • Sir,can I ask something?I'm still 13 and I really want be like you,can you give me some exercises that I can do to be in shape before I can do that kind of moves???

    Regard,

    Ocerf

  • respect!!! can you give me your conditioning workout please?

  • @etsak75 I would, but i don't have a structured programme, I know what I'm working on and I just do stuff as and when :)

  • YOU'RE THE BEST DUDE !!!

  • loved the first 14 seconds!!

  • @inofen cheers :) what about the rest of the video? :P

  • @natcomber13 really nice too, but the intro is really good xD

  • @inofen aw thanks very much! :D

  • are there any gymnastic leg workouts?

  • @dying2l yeah, not many which are specific though, anything which involves jumping high or lifting with your legs straight

  • @natcomber13 Thank you and good v-sit btw. Could you make a video of it or give me a list of them? :)

  • who says u need expensive equipment to be in shape

  • ufc fighter george st. pierre uses gymnastics for his conditionding

  • my 6 year old son has been doing gymnastics for 3 months and doing really well, but hes started worrying people at school will say gymnastics is for girls....only today i was telling him that if anybody tell him gymnastics is for girls, that he should tell them gymnasts are incerdibly strong and can do awesome tricks...it made him laugh and not care what ppl say. im going to show him this video tomorrow to prove it to him lol

  • @ThisisDebra haha thank you :) yeah, unfortunately the stereotype does exist, you just have to put up with it, and yeah bust out some crazy moves to shut 'em up ;)

  • @ThisisDebra if you watch ufc primetime part 2 at ufc . com They show how one of the fighters use gymnastics for his training ;)

  • when did you start gymnastics

  • @MrBoombastic1100 about 6 years ago now :)

  • how exactly do you structure your work outs? is it all/mostly static?

  • This is awesome... how many years of training did it take for you to get this good?

  • @kxradio Ah... never mind. I just saw your profile. Thanks for posting... very motivating stuff.

  • omg, you have no idea how much you just motivated me :)

  • @BearyCarry 13th :)

  • how old are you?

  • @TheBurningSeraphim 18 this month :)

  • nice vid nate. keep it up

  • Oh ok, cheers nate

  • looking good mate!

  • what kinda appropriate strength training??

  • @maxfalcon96 I just told you, the best way to get stronger at chins and pullups is to do the moves themselves; do more pullups and chin ups

  • @maxfalcon96 look up gymnasticbodies on google

  • how do you improve your amount of reps of pull ups/chin ups???? Please help :( (I'm 12 and I can do 4 pull ups and 5 chin ups) thanks

  • @maxfalcon96 Max, you know that's a stupid question, you get stronger with appropriate strength training; the more chins you do the better you will become at them

  • very inspiring ,

hovv many days in a vveek do you vvorkout?!

  • @dark644 I probabaly train between 4 and 5 times a week, but that's not always explicit strength training, evrything has it's benefits though

  • @TheBruiser012 I weigh just over 70kg, and I'm not sure exactly how tall I am I'm afraid, about 5'9? average size basically :P

  • your back muscles are huge!!

  • @maxfalcon96 I know :L

  • im jealouss .

  • Great video man, another time, good music and good movements :D

  • Great work man! How did you go about working on the straddle L press to handstand? That move has eluded me for some time now

  • nice work man! as an avid exerciser myself, i must say....superb work! xD

  • nice work, especially presses, i suck at them :( how old are you?

  • @Sinjid142 Well it is a very specific strength, you just need to practice them to get better. I'm 18 in march

  • @natcomber13 Well it has to be :P cuz I can do V-sit and backlever, but I never learned the handstand either... but I'll get to work on those as soon as possible :D

  • Nice work dood! I'm trying to get a stable handstand, but you make it look easy!

  • Awesome :) Should be coming to the gym tomorrow but my foot still hurts. Luckily it wasn't broken but my whole foot swelled up and went greeny blue :L

  • Hey great progress, very clear strength gains from your other video and a very visible muscle gain/fat loss. Good job and looking forward to seeing more.

  • nice video dude

  • God, you have control!!

  • You make everything look so easy!

  • Great job dude :D

  • Oh man, this reminds me that I really need to word some strength too.

Keep at it, man. Strength gains should come a bit faster once you get a bit older and bulk up a some.

  • Hot<3

  • @KrisAkro ahaa :)

  • @natcomber13 :)!

  • OMG It's Mr T but white

  • how old r u its amazing

  • Where abouts would someone start with building up strength like this? As in what exercises should someone start on if they've never really done anything of the sort before (aka, me)?

  • the bits where you tense are a bit OTT manly xD

    but excellent skills man (:

  • I envy you... good vid again

  • Damn it's Mr T but white. :)

  • How did you get your straddle lever/endo press/straddle press (whatever you want to call it)? Was it just a case of sitting in straddle and pushing up till your legs were off the ground or is there more involved?

  • @Theaterfreak Do straddle lever and straddle press from stand LOTS of times, work leg flexibility and keep trying, you will get it eventually

  • @natcomber13 Thanks, but I meant the actual straddle L position; I can do the press (against a wall) from stand, but I need a better straddle from the floor and I can't lever up. How did you train your straddle L?

  • @Theaterfreak Sorry, I guesss to improve the straddle L you just gotta do lots of them, hold it for time, do lifts in the position, do it with ankle weight etc until you can hold it solid

  • Wow! Thats insane!

  • what s your weight bro?

  • @Wolframm90 about 72kg

  • nathan...nice 6 pack ahah!

  • oh nate fuck you! xDDD you're super ripped man. I've been doing weightlifting for 1 1/2 year and I'm also strong, but I can't do this things. Keep up the hard work. You are an inspiration :)

  • holy shit! but alot of this does also require technique/skill since your balancing

  • 0:10

    LOL!

  • ripped

  • perfect man!

  • Nice ;), pfft I could do all that ;P x
