She tries to add a touch of her other music, and it ends up sounding terrible. Then again, it is hard to live up to a fantasic voice and mind like John Lennon's. Sorry to those who like her, she needs to pick another song.

What IMPACT?

No, no. John Lennon (the writer of this song) made an impact on the world. A HUGE impact which has never been matched by anybody. Arguably, he helped to shaped the 60s.

Lady Gaga is good. She writes catchy tunes. But she hasn't done ANYTHING to the world. She's just a pop artist. And yes, she's good but chances are she'll be forgotten about in 5 years time. Maybe I'll swallow my words, who knows.

But certainly no social changes are associated with Gaga.

This is beautiful. I love john lennon and I love this song. I didn't, up until the vmas, know gaga was bi and pro-gay rights...she has an incredibly impressive vocal range and her style is original. This girl will NEVER sell out unless she starts up a perfume line.
