@demon181 just to execute the command. the demo is rather annoying. fortunately it is gone from the final product. each time you select commands, it won't execute by itself. You have to press triangle to execute it. (unlike the final product which is automatic)

I missed having people to interact with and towns to visit. But the game play and stunning locations were still great! Some nice hard optional bosses too.
@Makotico You pass through a few cities in the storyline, but you can't go back to most of these and there isn't much interaction with people. You can travel later on, but only to certain areas, and they're mostly open fields and canyons. It's not a traditional FF by any means, but it's definitely still worth a play through.

ok see this hallway/road. Final Fantasy 13 has this road going in the start for excess of 20 hours! 20 hours fighting the same characters with no free roaming, no exploring nothing...just holding the up button and clicking A (which auto selects the best attack sequences for you). apparently the ps3 version runs on a higher resolution than the xbox 360 version. 720 to 570 (or something) respectively. Might make a difference, might not. PS3 imo is leading in terms of making more huge scale games and pushing the industry further, just play Heavy Rain! and wait till your climbing a 1000ft Titan in God Of War 3 and the camera zooms out to reveal your only just a pixel on the screen (PS3M) and fully latest tuned up GT5 graphics at full 1080p running at 60 frames per second. Uncharted 2 was just the best game last year for me

But when I do press attack, my character just approaches the enemy and hits it once or two times and goes back to the exact spot.
That's boring, I would buy this game if they changed that.

ok see this hallway/road. Final Fantasy 13 has this road going in the start for excess of 20 hours! 20 hours fighting the same characters with no free roaming, no exploring nothing...just holding the up button and clicking A (which auto selects the best attack sequences for you). This game is completely f*ck*d and i'm so p*ssed i paid money fo rit.

Youtube FF13 Versus. =] It's a Kingdom Hearts-like Final Fantasy that's been labelled "the darkest final fantasy of all time." It's the first with in-game blood and whatnot. It's a PS3 exclusive, made by the original SquareSoft team. It's gonna be win. =D
And FF11 was an MMO on the PS2 and PC that later got ported to the 360. It's considered a huge success, despite it's current dead status. And, 14 looks amazing. It will succeed. I promise. =]

apparently the ps3 version runs on a higher resolution than the xbox 360 version. 720 to 570 (or something) respectively. Might make a difference, might not. I have both consoles but I'm leaning towards getting it on ps3. Just cos like, FF has always been with Sony, it'd be weird for me playing it on xbox :P. Again, it's probably a personal thing.

The PS3's audio and video is uncompressed. The 360's is.

PS3 imo is leading in terms of making more huge scale games and pushing the industry further, just play Heavy Rain! and wait till your climbing a 1000ft Titan in God Of War 3 and the camera zooms out to reveal your only just a pixel on the screen (PS3M) and fully latest tuned up GT5 graphics at full 1080p running at 60 frames per second. Uncharted 2 was just the best game last year for me

This game will suck because IT IS LINEAR. You walk from room to room and you can't even go back to previous maps. If they're hoping the pretty visuals will be enough top blind fans to this major flaw, they're in for a surprise on launch day. I'm buying Mass Effect 2 and red dead redemption instead.

During design it is decided what platforms the game will go on. on another note FINAL FANTASY XIII WAS ORIGINALLY PLANNED FOR THE PS3. The Xbox was the downgrade, they had to chop the game into 3 discs for the xbox. at least have an IQ above one before you post your nonsense.

I have a 55 inch HD LED tv...um yeah you can see graphical flaws easily with updated TVs. Have fun not being able to play ff13 versus without a ps3. Creator said he'd kill himself before it went to 360.

The battle syste in this is basically half turn based,half real time.You chose the attacks and stuff like a turn based but you don't actually take turns,the only thing you wait for is that blue bar,each attack uses some of those.
