And what can I say about the SDBurman music, with Rafi and Lata to convey all the intricacies, it just reached cloud seven (saat sur!!).

It was in the early 60's when this song came out. There was something different about it. Everybody liked it and you could hear people singing it everywhere. Rafi's voice, the sound, the lyrics and music, all excellent and pleasing to the ears and soul.

This song has been amazingly sung by Rafi. The whole song is wonderful but in all the 4 stanzas, when Rafi sings last lines, like 'Dil Mera, Meri Jaan, Na Jalaa', 'Pyar Se, Tu Mujhe, De Sada', 'Tu Bhi Sun, Jaaneman, Aa Bhi Jaa' and 'Kyun Chhupa, Ek Jhalak, Phir Dikha', the amazing modulation in his voice always gives me goosebumps. He does it so effortlessly and I listen this song again and again just because of those awesome modulations. Great!

And what did our Dev Sa'ab do in a similar situation ? He simply ambles out at night, alone, crooning a melodious number in the moonlit starry night, and how lovingly does he find Nutan ! Is there anybody who can score over Vijay Anand, Sachinda, Mohd. Rafi and of course Dev Anand and Nutan in such a situation ?
