  • I don't like sharks or killer whales but if I had to choose I would definitely cheer the orca

  • did the orca finish him??? (eat him?)

  • @TheLadybird861 yes, pretty much.

  • @TheLadybird861 yea. i like orcas it is my favorite animal . only megalodon could kill killerwhale i think.

  • ur one fucked up orca

  • Killer Whale: You look like the motherfucker from Jaws II. I HATE JAWS II. YOU MUST DIE!!!!!

  • Kill that fucking orca before I find her and do it myself ...

  • @MrsPDeffinP STFU

  • Then it's a killer dolphin?

  • Killer Whales are not Whales but a Dolphin

  • endless ocean 3 is coming....this is footage

  • From dbz to this?

  • That is one hungry women she really did chop him like liver. Go Orca. I so love Orca!

  • Fuck you free willy

  • lol the shark go told...

  • Dolphins hate sharks and in fact, sharks are scared of dolphins. The Orca is essentially a large dolphin. Orcas not only hate sharks, they sometimes eat them. Dolphins 1, Great White 0.

  • Comment removed

  • The Orca knows that when the shark is upside down it goes into paralysis mode. They regularly attack smaller Mako sharks by flipping them over. People say ohhhh well if it was a 20 footer would of been different. GWS nowhere near as large, angry or clever as made out in jaws. Even a 20 foot white shark is very very very rare n might not even exist at present

  • @Moejoe733 Up to 23 feet has been witnessed recently, though the upper end of 19 is more common. There are def great whites larger than 20 feet though. Still, even if it was a 20 footer, Orca's are smart, and humans are proof positive of the theory 'brains over brawn.' Almost anything in our environment could overpower us. So we made tactics, blades, tools, guns, and the martial arts. Apply force with thought, and its all the more deadly.

  • @ENTERRAPTURE20 Something tell's me you are on the wrong site godbotherer.

  • I was not sent here by Yahoo I just looked up great white shark videos :D

  • Lol that was a shark for ants!!!

  • who the fuck uses yahoo?

  • yeah i came here from yahoo and i just want to say what a shit story they had!

that was by no means a big shark that beached itself

  • This SUCKS!!!!! I had 4-1 odds on the Great White and lost $5000........stupid shark, what a weenie!!!

  • It would be a little less cliched if the voiceover didn't sound like the movie trailer guy.

  • Did not see no evidence of a killer whale killing and eating a great white. It looked like whale blubber to me. Very poor camera video. Even though I probably would bet on the orca. A 20 foot great white would be hard to get it's mouth around. Think about it. Great whites are as wide as a small car. Dont think an orca can even open its mouth that wide. All the shark would have to do is dive deep. Orcas are mammals therefore they must come up to breathe. I don't know bout this one. Very poor :(

  • @hanksamples

Are you kidding? Killer Whales are much more bigger and robust than Great whites, especially at it's adult stage. The mouth of a killer whale reaches twice the diameter of a great white and with much more force.

  • @hanksamples It was a juvenile 14ft GWS named Jerry Garcia. And if you think the footage was poor, you try getting crystal clear footage of anything in the water at the Farallons. Especially between Aug-Nov.

  • plenty of orca haters here,if it's any comfort that was a baby great white..a full grown one vs one orca would have been a bit of fight.thankfully those whales r smart enough not to take on a fully grown shark one on one

  • Mammals 1-0 Fish

  • What did the poor shark ever do to be eaten so viciously...

  • FUCK You WHALE, and FUCK you Dolphins!!

  • all whales are killers, i don't get why orca is specifically refered as "killer whale".

  • I got dibs on the shark fin!

  • Willy VS Jaws :D

  • I was wondering, how the hell are they recording all the action up close and personal?

  • @RoseyRascal If it was'nt shot from a boat called Spearfish, the only other footage from that day was shot by naturalist Peter Pyle with a camera on a long pole.He got the footage of the Orca with the sliver of liver in it's mouth.Anyone who tells you there was a cameraman in the water for this is a liar and a fool.

  • Bow, to the mighty Pharaoh of the sea! :O

  • Its not a great white, look up what waters Orca live in and what waters Great Whites live in.

  • @stanboyd1 Orcas are found in all the worlds Oceans, from the North to the South Poles, the clear, warm waters of the New Hebrides, and the chilly, murky waters here at the Farallon Islands off San Francisco.GWS prefer cooler temperate waters where they will find marine mammals to eat,but they are not averse to warmer waters when it suits them.Like off Guadalupé Island in Mexico or the waters north of Jurien Bay in Western Australia, the Great Barrier Reef or the Red Sea.

  • sucks

  • Lungs > Gills

  • now is one less shark in the killing zone, but is replaced by killer whale

  • mammal vs fish

    mammal wins!

  • the whale was like : "get your hands off my bf BIATCH !" lol

  • Daaammmm you fat whale!!!!!

    Hunt that bitch down!!!

  • I hope they swallow carefully..those jaw teeth must be a pain to get stuck in the throat! hehe..

  • But for some reasons, mammals eat each other

  • It's good to see an intelligent mammal eat an oversized dumb fish. Humans rule the land and air, Orcas rule the sea. Us warm blooded creatures are superior!

  • @workingstiff76 Mammal supremacy!

  • porn

  • Thats ironic orcas are white sharks only predator

  • @monkeyseemonkeydo6 Except for other White Sharks.

  • So those people in Jaws just needed to hire an Orca. Got it. Sequel incoming.

  • @kpz1234 And the Orca will be played by Tilikum.

  • Want to bet a shark did something to this whale once?

  • I used to be a bad ass mother %$@#ing shark like you, but then I took an arrow to theHOLY CRAP IT'S A WHALE!!

  • @samooryesord I used to give people arrows in their knees, but then I took an arrow in the knee.

  • @MaximusRelaximus Yo dawg, I heard you like arrows in the knees?

  • This is the best footage they could capture? Pathetic. I can't tell if it's even actually attacking a shark or if this was merely edited to vaguely look like it

  • Like this if yahoo sent you here!

KW vs. KS and the winner is Willy!

  • Great White Shark met Killer Whale.

    GWS: Motherfucker!!

KW grabs GWS' neck and say, "SHH SHH."

  • well its a good thing there happened to be an underwater camera crew nearby to catch it!

  • Half of this video is splashing and bubbles. Hahaha

  • Sharks are becoming more endangered as time goes on. More people die of bee stings than sharks. They really need some support from us.

  • @DeadStarWars

    Kill them all.

  • snow effects really make the video

  • damn nature you scary.

  • Yahoo sent me here. :|

  • @goatboyful--Depends on the orcas. Some pods are known to only eat cold-blooded fish, while others prefer warm-blooded mammals. Obviously this one likes both! (Since they said she was part of an attack on a great whale calf.)

  • Orca was recuing the seal. It was his luky day...This is AMAZING footage.

  • @agenthelios1 Rescuing the seal? Are you out of your mind or are taking the piss? Orcas eat seals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

  • @goatboyful Of course I was attempting to be funny. I probably know more about orcas than you do. The only thing you probably know is what you see off Free Willy.

I have actually been on expedition where we got to see orcas in natural habitat not a crappy aquarum. many times I have seen them demolish a seal. Thats nature and killing happens.

  • @agenthelios1 Actually i've never seen 'Free Willy', it's a kids adventure film, how realistic is going to be.Nor do i intend to get in a pissing contest over "..oh i know more than you!" But i will certainly agree with you about one thing. The Natural World is all about hunter and prey and kill or be killed.Happy New Year.

  • Enter text here.

  • Why isn't PETA suing the orca for the senseless killing of that shark?? They wanna give the one's at Sea World rights similar to those of humans... so why aren't they demanding this and the millions of other animals out in the world be tried for murder?? smh...

  • @KnightStark = GAY.

  • @lukebccb If by GAY, you mean happy... yes, I'm in a pretty good mood. If by GAY, you mean I like the dudes... you interested or what??

  • @KnightStark I'd LOL at that. Great comeback!

  • @KnightStark Hahaha, I see he had no reply. Nice comeback.

  • @9chaos1forever1 Uhh, yes, I did have a reply, thank you. Happy New Year. :)

  • @KnightStark love the comment. PETA would sue for stepping on an ant.

  • @KnightStark because sharks are half as intelligent and much more abundant than orcas. Sharks have been around for millions upon millions of years and don't need any protecting.

  • @KnightStark Why do you ask stupid questions, while trying to be witty?

  • @dawgpost90 Same question, dawg.

  • @dawgpost90 I was just casually thinking aloud while viewing this video and decided to post my thoughts. I'm so glad you felt the need to humor me with an equally stupid question, although you may want to make sure next time you form your thoughts into a proper sentence so that you can make slightly more sense. Also, don't forget to have a 2nd grader proofread it for any punctuation errors.

  • Did not see any fight.

  • she's a Shark eater!

...sounds like a cheesy song. LOL

  • how do they get this kind of footage?

  • They're actually dolphins, not whales. If you look 'em up, they're called Orca Dolphins.

  • @DarkNinjaBunneh And Dolphins are a sub-subcategory of whales, so they are both a dolphins and a whale.

  • @Bullet2HeadMedic a dolphin* and a whale

  • now i know why they're called KILLER whales

  • Orcas have been know to attack humans too. Many ppl believe that it is they who are on top of the oceanic food chain, and not sharks. Beautiful, and deadly.

  • @9chaos1forever1 Since when? Aside from the woman who was drowned at Sea World when that one Orca dragged her under the water by her ponytail, I've never heard of Orcas attacking humans in the wild. Like most dolphins, they usually leave humans alone.

  • @44excalibur Once again another youtuber speaking without researching. Look it up brother. At least 6 trainers have died due to orca attacks. There have been numerous attacks as well but with little or no fatalities. As for in the wild attacks there have been several incidents. A surfer in Cali was attacked and recieved over 100 stitches from a single bite.

  • @9chaos1forever1 And you're assuming I haven't done my research, which I have. The only recorded incidents of fatalities with Orcas such as the one I mentioned have been in captivity. There are none of wild Orcas killing humans, and those few that have were non-fatal. I read about the surfer in Cali. There was also a 12-year-old boy in Alaska named Ellis Miller who was bumped in the shoulder by a 25-foot Orca who misidentified him as prey. The boy was not bitten or injured in any way.

  • nelson muntz was right let's nuke the whales

  • @vjacobo89 yeah; gotta nuke *something*.

  • im suprised they got footage of that but didnt get involved

  • @allsoccer16 get involved? That isn't your 7th grade lunch room. That's nature. don't fuck with it, Francis.

  • @allsoccer16

This whale, since she has a name from researchers, has obviously been observed doing this before, so it wasn't a matter of luck on their part. She has been tracked and her patterns studied until they knew when she was likely to show up in her favorite "alternative" meal, so they had a camera on her and caught it in action. This is what science allows us to see!

  • killetun:2

    jaws:0

  • Dolphins never really were big fans of sharks.

  • yes orca>shark.

  • Silly people. If you don't like the video, get your fat bum out in the ocean and get some better footage! *fishslap*

  • @omuryn fishslap...BWahahahahah

  • What a waste of time!

  • Whatever, I still captured Lugia.

  • what a corny video. Thanks yahoo for bringing me here.

  • Comment removed

  • Nat-Geo brought me here. Awesome stuff!

  • That's nothing.. I hunted sharks that big all the time before I took an arrow to the knee

  • @bashpk3rs oh yea? well i took a sword to the chest

  • yahoo, bringing us all together. haha

  • F*CK YOU WHALE, ANDA F*CK YOU DOLPHINNNNN!!

  • Yeah Willy! You show him who is boss!

  • Willy: 1 - Jaws: 0

  • @benhurober Willy: 2 - Jaws: 0 according to yahoo

  • @benhurober that gives the wrong impression that a great white has a chance against an orca. Great Whites average 12-16 feet in length and Orcas average 22-27 feet, and Orcas are far more intelligent.

  • Willy: You're dead, Bruce!

Bruce: I'm higher on the food chain!

    Willy noms Bruce fatally...

Bruce (dying): My...theme song... was always... better...

Willy: Well, mine featured Michael Jackson bitch! Now to go find some onions for this here liver.

  • Meh that shark was only 12 ft long...Would be interesting to see the Orca fight a 20ft+ one.

  • @Arodblade There's a documentary called The Whale That Ate Jaws or something where an orca does. It just rushes the shark, flips it over, eats the liver and leaves. Epic.

  • I didn't know killer whale and shark fight each others.

  • @JaJadaJade

They usually don't. They rarely cross paths at all.

  • no so great are they!!!!

  • i love it.

  • id like to know how they got such in depth footage exactly and id like to see more of the footage, not so many jump cuts lol

  • Damn nature you scary!

  • I didn't see the "killing"....

  • this time, mammal beats fish

  • Holy crap almost 21 million views.

I didn't see much, but do killer whales always eat sharks, or is it a sign other animals are scarce?

  • Hurray #teammammal!

  • im glad killer whales represent the mammals in the ocean.

  • This is taking footage from other documentaries and calling it a great white attacked by an orca, which is not in the video.

  • This whale's like the Hannibal Lecter of the sea.

  • R.I.P. shark dude

  • free willy vs jaws!!!

  • Go Willy!! :D

  • unfortunately they kill dolphins too. damn i wish i could remember the name of this great Orca documentary. it was about a family of orcas that used to return to this whaling village(not in japan) somewhere and would actually help the locals catch what they needed. it was cool and if anyone has seen it and can remember the name let me know.

  • i like how the orca basically guillotine chokes the shark (by holding it upside down - tonic immobility)

  • This is crap.

  • @meggiesmom

    What?

  • Looks like Willy had another side to him we didn't know.

  • whos heard of this attack from shark week!!

  • This is why the mascot of any Navy should be the Orca. They're just so badass.

  • sharks liver..oh yum

  • Despite the fact that this thing is brutally murdering a great white shark, all you can think when you see an orca is "YAY SHAMUU!!!"

  • @staticxmr: "Murder"? It's called survival of the fittest, natural selection, and food. Murder isn't done to eat. This is called an animal doing what it was made to do, hunt food.

  • @staticxmr I bet people tell you to shutup a lot!

  • @staticxmr What, it's murder because the shark died? Guess all carnivorous animals are guilty of MASS MURDER, despite the fact that they're doing this to survive and don't know any better. Lets introduce them to a vegan diet! :D

  • All I saw was a bunch of bubbles and stock-footage of killer whales.

  • @BigBadassR Next time try filming an Orca killing a Great White in 3D you fucking troll

  • @lljcool7 I'm not a troll, this video is pretending to be footage of a fight between a killer whale and a shark, but nobody was there with a video camera for this incident in 1997. They arrived after the fact. So this video is pretending to be something it isnt.

  • @BigBadassR

You can debate the veracity of this video, but I personally saw an Orca kill a great white easily this large back in 1997, after tossing it about like a rag doll for what seemed like forever.

  • @Babyhowdy233 Dare i ask when and where did you see it and do you have one iota of proof or evidence to back that claim?

  • @BigBadassR yea yea keep trolling bitch...go ahead reply to my comment with 1 more fucking paragraph

  • @lljcool7 internet toughguy. I bet you call the kids on the playground bitches after you give up your lunch money.

  • @BigBadassR o good a troll ...i was wondering where the fucking nerds were

  • Thumbs up if Yahoo! brought you here!!!

  • lmao imagine how that camera man felt...

  • Canucks -whale- vs sharks. dont the canucks always win? ez.

  • @MoosyGrass no!

  • MMM, sushi!

  • Smile, you son of a B----

  • I can't think of anything funny to say.

  • always good to see a shark gettin theirs for a change..and alot of ppl 4gets tht killers eat sharks

  • I came here from the Yahoo article lolz

  • @DominicanStud101

    lmao! same here :)
