@Yetti0 : That is not likely, because "Czech Republic" has only riwers, not seas and no "navy" at all. "Czechoslovakia" had few merchant ships, but i doubt it was called "navy". Austrian-Hungarian empire - wich was Czech part of, in the times when your great great grandfather lived, had its own (military) Navy, where the czechs served too, but that wasn´t "Czech navy".

@Yetti0 : That is not likely, because "Czech Republic" has only riwers, not seas and no "navy" at all. "Czechoslovakia" had few merchant ships, but i doubt it was called "navy". Austrian-Hungarian empire - wich was Czech part of, in the times when your great great grandfather lived, had its own (military) Navy, where the czechs served too, but that wasn´t "Czech navy".
