  • is the camera on the dudes chest?

  • A song in a song? INCEPTION

  • Caustic are the Ties that Bind is probably my favourite off the album (since I listened to In Waves so much it lost a tiny bit of its novelty, but still kickass)

  • Caustic are the ties that bind is a badass song though along with a skyline's servance other than that .. shit

  • most of what they said made them look like shit cause the album is SHIT. TRASH.

  • @TheFutureIsFucked noone gives a fuck, suck a dick.

  • @pivotXZ you prove yourself wrong imbecile.

  • @TheFutureIsFucked I personally thought it was a very solid album. Definitely not Shogun or Ascendancy but I personally enjoyed listening to it. The things that stood out to me the most within the album was the vocals, drums, sound and the producton work. Hey, but everybody has their own opinions.

  • @SweetNoteage I do appreciate an intelligent opinion so i'll give you that one. though my thoughts and opinion is and are complete opposite to what you've said,i thought the album sound first of all wasn't that great if good at all, production neither, the lyric were simplistic as were the guitar parts seems like they rushed through the album cause i've heard albums where you can almost hear the passion bleed through the speakers and it seemed very one demensional and boring. to me.

  • @TheFutureIsFucked Fair enough. \m/

  • @SweetNoteage \m/

  • @SweetNoteage \m/

  • I kinda think the lyrics to the whole album are based around Travis leaving. The whole theme throughout the album is about something ending slowly (just like Trivium said would happen if Travis was still in the band). I bet they're leaving it up to fan interpretation just because they don't want to come out and publicly say most of the lyrics were about Travis leaving

  • i think "Forsake Not The Dream" is gonna be the best song on the album

  • I feel like in ever interview they've done so far all had the same content (just rephrased)

  • Song with in a song? SONGCEPTION

  • "new live DVD style" how can it be a new style if they still have yet to release one

  • @JAB0NK0 they mean compared to other live dvd's theres a few tracks up from the dvd, just search in waves live dvd

  • I really am enjoying the new direction Trivium are taking, I'm very keen to listen to the entire album, but I've just got a feeling that it'll be great. Yeah, it's different, but bands evolve. Deal with it.

  • @VoltronCorpse Indeed. I cant wait to enjoy the next new direction on the next album also.

  • caustic the ties that bind, the 30 second sample i heard of it was bad fucking ass!

  • @HammersmashedTaco Dude watch the world burn was sick man..

  • What the fuck's up with the zooming in?

  • I love how Matt always leaves everything open to interpretation. That is one of my inspirations in my personal songwriting! Love it.

  • they really like zooming in on matts face

  • fuck what style you think they are just enjoy the music and if you dont like them why watch the vids???????? a reason i like trivium is i can tell you what album is playing from a few seconds of a track because every album sounds so different and thats the way it should be you would be trolling if they sounded the same as the last album

  • @ISBSA1 I like Ascendancy. I like The Crusade. I love Shogun. Trivium were one of the first extreme metal/metalcore bands that I ever discovered as a teenager. I've really enjoyed witnessing the evolution of their sound since Ember to Inferno, but I'm really not impressed at all with what I've heard from the new album. I understand that they're clearly going for a more straightforward, polished, and groovy/catchy listening experience. I understand it, but I'm not impressed.

  • @CorporateNothing ill hold out on judging until iv listened to the album at least 5 times i like all the albums but i did have trouble with crusade at first i didnt like the vocals coz he sounded to much like hetfield (im a big metallica fan btw) the 2 songs they have released on here are pretty good or at least i think so...like you said its a more polished simplified trivium most bands do this at some point........tbc

  • @ISBSA1 sounded like Hetfield. No. He just used the same vocal technique. Even I can sound 'like Hetfield' then.

  • @CorporateNothing like metallica with the black album megadeath with symphony of destruction etc

  • @CorporateNothing +1 I approve. Down From The Sky/Shogun was the first stuff I heard by them. I was like 'wtf is this this!? this is awesome!!!' I didn't have that with the songs they put out so far 'okay pretty cool' but not a love for it from the start. Yes I will like it, same goes for other albums by other artists but it so far didnt have the 'wtf is this shit!' effect with me.

  • @ISBSA1 ikr, the fact that trivium does what ever the fuck they want to on each album is the main reason i love them so much!!

  • @ISBSA1 fucking oath!

  • fuck.

i wish they stayed with the shogun style. not this metalcore bullshit

  • idk why people bitch about nick's drumming pay attention you fucks i bet 100% of the people that say stupid shit like that dont even know how to play the drums stfu and pay attention

  • @bigmonkeyman44 Your a cunt. Go back to Mordor Troll..... -_-

  • @bigmonkeyman44

    garbage? haha

then try to learn drumming at this level of skill... then you can say it!

  • @wRaThEYEFORI i can do better, travis smith owns this fool.

  • Got to see them play in waves and many others tonight, Fucking amazing
