i will go with the samsung, i just thought skying would be cool, while sitting in your living room, I think i will get the 8000, i want the 9000 but too expensive, how much did you pay for the 8000?
@Beetwate305 I paid $1959 for the 8000 series which also came with a free Blu-ray player. I picked it up from Frys. This was the one situation where the internet wasn't cheaper. I'm not 100% sold on 3d yet, so I didn't want to pay that much more for the 9000 series. My 8000 series is a 46" and the picture quality is just stunning.

@Beetwate305 Not sure why you would need Skype on your TV. I own the Samsung 8000 led 3D series, and love it. Go with the Samsung!
