sites like this are brilliant. it's not the 100K earners fault that the world 'is the way it is' how ignorant is that? good on them, one day i'll be using this site.
@Dinoslay - the ad isn't target towards you. It's targeted towards people making 100k+ and employers hiring 100k+....apparently this board is full of angry under 100k earners who are bitter they weren't smart enough to study a field that would pay them more.
Who's fault is that?...YOURS! Not your parents, teachers, or family. The choice was YOURS to do what you do now. You live in a free country...u can be anything u want. U simply chose less b/c of your own lack of confidence in yourself.
@TheStarrrK Quite a wild assumption. I respect it even if it isn't accurate. I'm very confident in myself too, thank you very much.
And it's not all about making money, only the ones who are too used to earning it think that it is. Happiness comes with far less. Most are too blind to see it. Just my opinion. ;)
@Dinoslay Sorry, but that's a poor persons excuse. Fact is, if you're in a job that you do not enjoy, regardless of how much you make, you won't be happy.
Making a lot of money will make you happy, as long as you make sure you enjoy the field you're in. Same as making less money, sure. Of course, I'd rather be making 100+K and be happy, then making under 100K and be happy. As I could do more things in life.
@flippedoutcookie The true fact is that nothing in this world was created "for us", we just choose whether or not to use it in either positive or negative way. Someone not earning millions in a day doesn't mean that they can't have an experience rich life. Depends on the way they decide what to do.
So no, money does not buy happiness by whole, only one small fraction of it. A rich person can still be morally poor. Most of us only see the fraction of lives' complexity which money doesn't cover.
@Dinoslay You can't replace love, mutual understanding nor lasting happiness with just money is what I really mean. In a "do-cause-we-can" society it's all that humans care about, not because they have to but because they can. And that's just wrong.
The little Guilalas remind me of the Grimlins from the movie "Grimlins" directed Steven Spielburg. Yep,in Japan, they got plenty of pesky bothersome dino-grimlins pests too.
@gladbagsurgery - Who's idea was it to study for an "under 100k" job genius? Ironic, you'd never hear someone making "over 100k" say something like that. Ur right...paychecks don't reflect our abilities - they reflect our level of strategy in life & street smarts in our careers.
From experience, people making 100k+ are RARELY the most educated or come from the best schools...they're simply the most ambitious, strategic & street smart.
If wealth's not important 2 u, then work for less...
Okay, I kind of get their concept, but if you look at this another way, it seems as if they are saying instead of finding many crappy employees who are under qualified, I could find the one crazy ass monster who would destroy my company.
Isn't it kind of weird how, right now, it is the "100k plus talent" that is fucking our economy over, and in the video, it is the big Guilala that is destorying the town?
Oh that is adorable and awesome, I can't believe they made a commercial starring dozens of little GUILALAS! How freaking random! I have a figure of that monster :D
Who could image that after four decades, an ad agency would employ the star of THE X FROM OUTER SPACE, as seen on those Giant Monsters Weeks on ABC's 3:30 Movie? Wow.
FINALLY,Guilala gets some much deserved respect!!!

I wonder if they brought that suit out of retirement from some studio warehouse or if someone remade that design for some reason?

Those 100K People are the reason the world is in it's current state.
Money hungry punks without a sense of humanity in them.

These commercials dont make any SENSE.
If you are competing against people who are MORE talented, then you're going to stand out even LESS.
But what do I know, I am not in the 100K talent pool :(

100k+ talent. What an offensive slogan.
As someone who is studying for an under $100k job, I find the idea that our paychecks reflect our abilities ridiculous.
There is more to life and a career than wealth.
