Can you help me choose which model of Ugly Stik rod to use for walley trolling using crankbaits on MN lakes with a bait caster reel? Some tell me Big Water series and some say the Lite salmon/steel head rod. I think I will just stick with flat line trolling this Spring but MIGHT try downrigging in the summer. I really prefer flat lining, though. I need a rod that breaks down to pack in my car, too. Thank you for your help!
They work great Backtrolling for chinook in the pacific north west.Everyone i know uses the big clunky kwiks but hot n tots smothered with sardine or shrimp smelly jelly are my favorite. Both spring and fall. Glad storm is still making them in good colors.
great action lure ! i been using them since a couple of years now when im trolling they reach a pretty decent depth in a river catching walleye pike bass and musky on the madflash white the biggest model .....favorite color

hot n tots there one of the best bait for walleye on the saginaw bay there also really good for steelhead
