@WildlyOptimistic1 says who? this is all bush's falt. the only reason we are in this dam war is cus of bush. Yes the Demorcats control congress, thats a good thing, if McCain had won, we would be entering a depreshon, The economy sucks cus of the fucking people like bush, mccain, and the joke of the there party Pailin.
End the war, no. Support our troops, defiantly. Give them better Health Care then any one can get in the United States? (Even members of Congress), Yes. Give them their benefits entitled to them under their contract? Most defiantly. But the war is fought because the terrorists are a threat to the United States. Better the war be fought over there then here on our soil.
Rage isn't exactly comunist. They just protest the big coorporations and religions that currupt our politicians. They support someone who will take a stand against bribes and scandals and actually run a country.
I was there!!! That was one of the coolest things I have ever been a part of. Non violent and actaully got some results (as far as getting to talk to the DNC at least).
This event was sponsored by the Iraq Veterans Against the War, with the intentions of helping to bring our troops home... The red star has nothing to do with communism here, it's a symbol for the EZLN (Zapatista Army of National Liberation) Also, Anti-Capitalist does not always equate to pro-communist. I know it's easy to get distracted, but please... try to pay attention.
You clearly have no understanding of what communism is.
Communism is where everyone is equal in what they have ownership of.
In communist countries, no matter how smart or talented you are, or how willing you are to earn something... you will always own the same amount, and get paid the same amount. Your talents and accomplishments are not recognized.

The members of Rage are clearly communist. It's funny how they live in the U.S. and collect big "rock star" pay checks but they hate everything American. Very hypocritical. Capitalism IS better then communism because of one great difference...OPPORTUNITY. Where there is opportunity, there is freedom. I come from a communist country and AMERICA gave me all the opportunities and freedom which my own country denied me off.
i hear you...though i question how true that freedom or opportunity is, whether in communism or capitalism.?! i think it is very relative, and in a non-communist or non-fascist society the constraints are more invisible, yet that doesnt mean they are not there, with the ability to cause even more insidious damage; and by this, in no way am i trying to glorify fascism or communism.
Just listen to them speak in interviews, listen to their music lyrics, watch how they support some socialist political movements, etc. Listen, even though I hate communism, I really admire Rage for speaking up against injustice. I just don't believe that the way to fight injustice in America is by converting our government into a communist/socialist state.
Communism would be beautiful in a world where people would be selfless enough to uphold it. If our world did not revolve on the aquisition of wealth, the obese could give up their gluttony to feed the hungry. The rich could spare their chump change to feed homeless children. we could make the changes necessary to preserve the deteriorating natural world. but they need money. Greed makes opportunity a farce. and this system only sets us deeper into a caste system.
The blood is on all our hands. OURS. Direct action gets the goods...

You lack understanding of how the system works.
Religion, Media, Corporations, Government... they're all best friends.
