I bought one of these directly from Rivera I love it! Made me forget I once loved VHT! It's crystal clear with way more headroom than a guitarist could ask for. The sound is amazing, very clear and glassy smooth. Used it once as PA power and WOW! It's about as musical as it gets. It's only downfall is it's enormous size and weight.. 75 lbs or so, and it's 4 rack spaces.. If you plan to use it in your guitar rig, do yourself a favor and put it in it's own 4 rack case.
why the hell would you need 550 watts. besides just for saying 550 watts. and if its 140 for 550, it usually means that it's going to explode at some point lol.
hah, i guess your rite, thats why im not getting it no more, instead i found a 700watt peek subwoofer with integrated amp by infinity and its a 12" driver but yeah the amp probably will suck ass
uhhh...did you ever think that maybe you need 550watts if you have big speakers? I have a pair of D-9's and these babies need a good 300-400watts RMS. I'm powering them with a 1000watt peak-400RMS power amp. You think 500watts is a lot? wow. I'm getting 2000wattRMS subwoofers.
Dude; this is 160 TUBE Watts per side. That means that it will do 160 watts per side without being overdriven; and it will get even louder if you don't mind a little power amp saturation. That's more than anyone would need; especially with today's PA systems. 320 watts is pretty ridiculous for guitar.
excuse my lack of tech knowledge but can i use this with my rivera sedona ?
