Only once or twice, nothing major. I understand that the trick is to very slowly decrease the speed until she shuts off.

Hey, i was just curious if your machine backfires when you idle down from operating speed? I just bought one and it back fires when I idle it down.

@mrtiggy if yours is a tecumseh its completely normal, with a briggs, just a little surge or something like that, watch my vid, and i think i run ti a bit at the end of it
