Genes must have an environmental trigger (western diet, stress, chemicals medication, etc.) in order to "turn on" or "turn off". How sensitive our genes react (resiliency) to our environment can determine if or how fast one develops a disease.
It is never too late for genomic testing. 1: It can produce a plan (diet, lifestyle, medication guide) to keep these genetic defects at bay. 2: The genes may not be the problem. It make us look elsewhere for the problem. 3: It's cheaper than a stroke...
