Zanarkan was destroy 1000 years before final fantasy X the zanarkand show at the start of the game is called dream world and tidus is a dream as well a new persona from the memories of shuyin and the real zanarkand. Tidus was not pull into the future that his believe at first but then he realize that he was pull out from dream world into the real one and finally Aroun known that sin was jecht and he takes tidus to meet his father and put a end to his agony and save spira as well.

Tidus is a Dream as u can say. Sin was the thing that took Tidus to the Future. Auron didnt take him to meet his father Auron thought his father died then was Shock to know that Tidus dad was Sin. You got this wrong.
