The most logical way to explain why the constitution was made the way it was and why it applies even now is this, each State is different so different rules apply with regard to education, energy, Agricultural, security etc. The needs in Alaska are different than Texas which are different than New York. Let the States run themselves and Have the Feds, protect through communication with the States. Show the feds for what they are, in the way, let the States run their own houses.

Why cant we just not pay actors so much?, Charlie Sheen got 1 million and something PER episode like why the fuck does he make so much money, I know why in reality but I mean really does he need that much money? If you cut an actors pay down a lot, and threw all that money into taxes we wouldn't have no problem funding shit. IE, an actor plays in a sitcom, they get paid about 100grand per episode instead of 1 million and something and then use that for natural disaster funds

Way to go Ron Paul, you had answers to all the tough questions and unlike other politicians, your answers had substance behind it. I'm not sure if I liked the tone of the interviewer, I'm no fan of cupcake interviews but it sure seemed like he had it out for Dr. Paul.

Ron Paul is controversial. It's controversial to support legalization of drugs and prostitution. It's controversial to oppose social security and federally-subsidized flood insurance. I agree with Ron Paul on these issues, and I wish he didn't try to change the subject and back-pedal when he is confronted with questions about his views. It is not inherently a personal attack when someone asks you a question.
If your refering to one of Paul's various interviews, he has publically denounced any hidden ties to his work and its library. I think that to paint Mr. Paul with any such disrespect is not warranted. I am a huge Ron Paul supporter, but I think he should have addressed the quote of Michael Gerson a little more instead of starting to talk about legalization of drugs. The critique of social darwinism is the strongest idelogical argument against libertarian ideas and that is exactly what Obama and other democrats will use against him in a potential campaign. Is anyone else disturbed by the fact that holding constitutional views on the federal government has become "controversial"? Ron Paul is the leader of a religion. All of his followers are emotional young people, none of them are serious academics (unless they're getting paid by David Koch). The most logical way to explain why the constitution was made the way it was and why it applies even now is this, each State is different so different rules apply with regard to education, energy, Agricultural, security etc. The needs in Alaska are different than Texas which are different than New York. Let the States run themselves and Have the Feds, protect through communication with the States. Show the feds for what they are, in the way, let the States run their own houses.

Why cant we just not pay actors so much?, Charlie Sheen got 1 million and something PER episode like why the fuck does he make so much money, I know why in reality but I mean really does he need that much money? If you cut an actors pay down a lot, and threw all that money into taxes we wouldn't have no problem funding shit. IE, an actor plays in a sitcom, they get paid about 100grand per episode instead of 1 million and something and then use that for natural disaster funds

I think we should learn as much as we can about human nature, then create a system which works best with it. I think history proves that lasaiz-fair capitalism isn't this system. Poverty isn't a sign of immorality and people don't deserve to die because they are poor. Power needs to be limited, and for this reason I believe in democracy.

Ron Paul is controversial. It's controversial to support legalization of drugs and prostitution. It's controversial to oppose social security and federally-subsidized flood insurance. I agree with Ron Paul on these issues, and I wish he didn't try to change the subject and back-pedal when he is confronted with questions about his views. It is not inherently a personal attack when someone asks you a question.

I am a huge Ron Paul supporter, but I think he should have addressed the quote of Michael Gerson a little more instead of starting to talk about legalization of drugs. The critique of social darwinism is the strongest idelogical argument against libertarian ideas and that is exactly what Obama and other democrats will use against him in a potential campaign. Ron Paul is the leader of a religion. All of his followers are emotional young people, none of them are serious academics (unless they're getting paid by David Koch). Like most religious people, his followers mean well. It's just that their reasoning faculties have been disabled by their emotions and the propaganda they've been exposed to. You can't blame them for getting angery and looking for answers. Their country has been getting raped by the top 0.1% for some time now.

Lots of politicians are going to agree with him that corporations should be completely deregulated and poor people shouldn't get schools or hospitals. Plus no enviromental restrictions whatsoever. Ron Paul is working for the bad guys (Koch bros).

@urdisturbing, ok first, he doesnt need to get the people in washington to agree with him, the people of this nation decide who is in charge. second, as he is against regulations by un-elected government entities that do the bidding of the corporations, he is all for laws that protect the consumer. third, the only reason why education and healthcare is so expensive is because of inflation caused by the fed. it all makes sense when you hear it from him directly.

@urdisturbing i agree with what he says. whether Hillary likes him or not is arbitrary. i know that its scary to think about making decisions for yourself in matters of health care and education but i would prefer to decide what best for me. i don't appreciate government coming in and telling me what to do with my body and my land.

@urdisturbing ok, this is the last post. ron wants to reduce the "federal" powers. the states have the authority to use tax money to take care of those in need. Plus, if i pay less taxes then i will have money to donate to charities that will also help these people. there are lots of things that can be done to help people. It's not the federal governments job to do it because they are bad at it.

1. Reduce overall federal spending
2. Prioritize cuts in oversize expenditures, especially the military
3. Prioritize cuts in CORPORATE welfare
4. Use 50 percent of the savings from cuts in overseas spending to shore up entitlement programs for those who are dependent on them and the other 50 percent to pay down the debt
5. Provide for reduction in federal bureaucracy and lay out a plan to return responsibility for education to the states

It is very simply, do you believe you should be forced to join any organization? People who live in dangerous location can pool money together to cover themselves. Instead of paying tax to the Government, they have a CHOICE to put money into a bank or buy silver and they will have plenty of money to rebuild their houses, much more than what the fucking government would give them. You can't trust the Government with your money, they kill people with it.
