I think the BBC told this very sad story in a very sensitive and caring way. It must have been very hard for Zahava Scherz to go ahead with the documentary. I am grateful she did. Well done to all concerned.

This is a very touching documentary. I have a copy of Rutka's notebook in English and I was captivated as I read through the sixty pages. I felt that I really got to know Rutka and it is my favorite 'document' of the Holocaust along with the diary of Anne Frank. I am just surprised that Stanislawa Sapinska kept it to herself for 60 years.

The Ruka docu is on the dvd ^^
