  • I listened again and found the other issue. It's your claim that Paul, Peter and Apollos all taught the same thing. That's TOTALLY unsubstantiated by ANY Scripture, and is clearly countered by Peter's remark about some things taught by Paul are "hard to understand." You're telling us Peter taught things he didn't understand? Nonsense. Also P&A taught Apollos the way of God "more accurately," clearly showing that men grew in knowledge then as they do now. I could say more but space is limited.

  • @IamaFreeWillOffering Your response doesn't address his claim at all. Paul taught things that are hard to understand. Does that mean that Peter and Paul taught contrary things? No. P&A taught Apollos the way of God more accurately. Does that mean that between them or other apostles were alternative or contradictory doctrines? Of course not. There wasn't a Paul denomination or a Peter denomination or an Apollos denomination. And that's all he's saying here.

  • @20485742895729875 You obviously have a reading comprehension problem.

  • @IamaFreeWillOffering You obviously need a course in logic since you can't seem to address the issues relevantly.

  • @20485742895729875 Your problem is that you opened your mouth without sufficiently engaging your brain. You COULD HAVE AND WOULD HAVE understood my words if you had PAID ATTENTION to what I actually said instead of paying attention to your own ignorant PRESUMPTIONS.

  • @20485742895729875 You're the one with a logic problem. "Does that mean that Peter and Paul taught contrary things? No."

I NEVER suggested NOR used ANY language that any of their teachings were contrary. You need to PAY ATTENTION when you read something and not jump to ignorant and foolish conclusions. His REITERATED point was that they "taught the same thing." My point was that COULD NOT be true because Peter wouldn't be teaching something he found "hard to understand."

  • Good response to Jeze... er, I mean Monica, but a couple of things about your teaching.

The "three things" are not "context context context" and btw, *you have no Scripture for that* (please take honest note), but is "in the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every fact be established." Note this is twice in the OT and confirmed FOUR times in the New, yet conservative fundamentalists IGNORE this FOUNDATIONAL TRUTH.

I forget the other thing, but if you repent on this, you'll do well!

  • Rosebrough easily mopped up the floor with her utter bankrupt and unbiblical hermeneutic. I wonder who taught her as she is just dreadful.

  • Calling monica dennington back to the state hospital. Has anyone seen

  • I loved hearing this! I am not a Monica Fan...anymore. But that was because she teaches that the Holy Spirit is a woman. Terrible. But as a minor minor defense of Monica, my very best friend still holds on to Calvinism, as he used to be one. We get in really good debates about choose/chosen/predestination and sovereignty of God. Calvinists may bring people to Christ, but they still follow Calvin's teachings, AKA, they follow Calvin. The Calvinists are indeed Christians, as you say...BUT!

  • Lol . . . I am not a Calvinist but great radio/video broadcast --- Great dissection! lol Any time we defend the Faith, our argument should be FULLPROOF. Also, a minister of God is neither a feminist nor a chauvinist. If you hear God's word mingled with such . . . RUN! lol

  • @ProphetessTelharesha "FULLPROOF"?

Even if you mean "foolproof," that's impossible for the natural man receives not the things of the spirit of god for they are foolishness to him and he cannot understand them for they are spiritually discerned.

Spiritual truth is not fool proof. Fools will tear apart even the Words of Jesus just as Obama did when he referenced our Lord's words to mock the idea of a nation following the Bible.

Notice he never mocked the Koran, though he claims he's Christian

  • Yahweh has blessed me with discernment and I had her pegged from first sight. Even a babe could see it within a few videos though. She is extremely prideful and controlling and will not receive instruction.

  • Yes, you are all correct, she is a false teacher. She denies the humanity of Christ and the full God-ness of the Holy Spirit.

But really - it's her husband who is the tyrant. He thumbs people down by saying, "you have no authority in the church, you should keep silent in the church". It's really bizarre and cultish. Watch out for these two, they're wolves in sheep's clothing. Or just plain wolves.

  • Give it a break! No good should come from this.

  • Why does anyone bother listening to that witch anyway? She is heretical to the bone! I am sure she has been set up on purpose to lead people astray.

  • im very weary of christians disagreeing so much about stuff. dont u think that maybe she is sincere and is just confused? dont u think scripture is so easy to misinterpret and that everyone can make a mistake? what makes you think ure so right? idk...i dont think rebuking soooo much is of God, and Im saying this to myself too because i do this too. is there only one denomination that is correct 100%? this is why people dislike christians, too much arguing not enough love

  • Wow, i was following this lady for awhile, but stopped after hearing one thing after another that just didn't sound right. I don't mean that everyone in the Body has to agree on everything all the time, but Monica seems to be using a controlling spirit to "warn" us of so called "controlling spirits" that aren't even really there *(it's called slander, by the way). Basically, to her, anyone who disagrees with her is a spawn of haSatan. .. Just for the record, I'm not a Monicite. .. Shalom y'all.

  • Anybody who bans people from posting unfavorable comments is not worthy of teaching. Maybe I should be happy Ms. Dennington has banned me from commenting on her videos. Thx for the link to fighting for the faith. Glad to know I am not the only one who thinks she is a few cans short of six pack.

  • the woman is sick.

  • I heard her quote the Scripture which forbids anyone calling someone in Authority a Father. Yet it's the very thing the catholics do all the time.

catholics are experts at twisting Scripture.

  • TOO MANY TEACHERS....

  • if i had a dollar for every time she repeated herself i would be a millionaire

  • I had heard of Monica's attacks upon Calvinism, but didn't really bother listening to them since I'd already heard the disgusting anti-Trinitarian and feminine Holy Spirit nonsense lectures she had already given (I would never profane the term "sermon" by attributing it to such rubbish). This Lutheran did a fine job in refuting this endless barrage of bromides and trite. Yet one more reason to thank God's unfailing Word for reminding us that women have no place ministering The Word.

  • I think Monica has a good point. When it comes to "who do you fallow." Calvinist will say they fallow Calvin or Calvins teaching. I believe that God is looking for those people who will fallow Him. If God wanted robots we wouldn't have this sin problem. I do believe that no man can come to Christ unless he be drawn because man is spiritually dead..

  • @baltimorearc calvinist follow the teachings of calvin bc his teach alline with the word of God. like any other preacher.

  • I appreciate this. I did at the urging of a friend(not really a friend but one whom I appreciate) who urged to support your ministry. For myself, before I became a Calvinist(and was an Independent Fundamental Baptist) And always saw Calinists as my brothers and sisters in Christ with whom I disagreed with on the secret decrees of God concerning salvation not easy to understand. Now I am a Calvinist-nothing has changed except seeing non Calvinists as my brothers and sisters in Christ...

  • I stand corrected......

  • all I have to say is that now days...people want to "reason" and add words to the Bible and it is a SIN....and if you put anyone above God it is also a sin....God Bless you all

  • New Ageism is everywhere these days. Thank you for the wonderful video Lane!

  • i made a post on one of her vids a long time ago - I now find i've I've been BANNED from her channel! Fame at last :-)

At least I don't have to receive any spam from her, now...

  • She's a very misguided young lady. It sounds very much to me like she believes she has been anointed to grant revelations to the end times church, attacking denominations to make them listen to HER, for HER to lead them to salvation, twisting around the scriptures to suit her worldview. This is classic false prophet behavior. Say some prayers for Monica Dennington, folks, because she really needs them.

  • TicToc ministries =

    tictoc = like time

    the end of an age

she uses religion as her cover for

    pagan/cult teachings

much like word of faith teachers

    and the emergent church

  • oh and while I agree that God has a triune makeup I think his makeup is not properly understood by most Christians and I in part blame the Trinity doctrine which is a Gnostic invention(I'll post the evidence if its asked of me)

  • I don't agree with Monica's views of God's make up(she thinks the Holy Spirit is female and demands you accept that) and I really fear that there is a cult type thing going on with her "the acts church" as if she is going to organize the perfect church

that said this video is equally ridiculous

Calvinism IS a false doctrine AND Monica is right about the disobedience to God's word by associating themselves with a man's name

  • Dennington: "Shades of Ellen White."

  • Thank you brother. I found myself wondering what brought on this rant against our Calvinist brothers and sisters. You might be right about the Denningtonist comment. The way Monica acted in her rant is the way cult leaders control their followers.

  • My main concern is that the way she does her teachings, it's almost like she's trying to separate her followers like a cult leader would from everyone else. A lot of these videos she brings her teachings which she claims are from scripture alone and says that if you disagree with her, that you are condemned, or have the mark of the beast, or are contentious, or something.

  • I would like to listen to this radio station, anyone know how I can find it and maybe e-mail Chris Roseburg as I have some questions for him

  • Chris Rosebrough did a great rebuttal here, I'm not a Calvinist but I feel so bad for them that they listen to the video and how angry and offended they got, Calvinist, don't let this anger you, believe me, I watched her video on the female Holy Spirit being the women in revelations and that if I don't believe in this that I have the mark of the beast. I felt the same way, angered and a rustled spirit.

  • Please read scripture 1 timothy 3:10-15 Monica Dennington

  • I just got done listening to this whole video. I can't believe that she actually raises the authority of her own words up to the level of Christ Himself! She actually says to repent and believe what SHE is saying!!! Blatant signs of a false teacher (false Messiah?!?) all throughout. Why does she have so many hits on her videos? True Christians, please leave her alone!!! She has been warned many times of her sin and she won't even acknowlege it. We know what to do in such cases; leave her alone.

  • I don't believe that this woman is worth the effort everyone is taking to defend "calvinism." She obviously has no clue whatsoever concerning what she is talking about; everything she says is out of context and spoken in pure ignorance due to her blindness regarding Scripture and her misunderstanding of "calvinism." "But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Cor. 2:14

  • (Proverbs 11:3,15:5,15:14,15:32.) (1John 3:4) (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12) (Revelation 12:9) (2 Corinthians 11:13-15)

  • Monica Dennington is an easy lay if you follow her.

  • A distinction needs to be made between a denomination's doctrine going against scripture and the very existence of denominations themselves going against scripture. Our host and a majority of the commenters are implicitly assuming the second point to be false in their defense of a Calvinist's rights to defend their Christ centered doctrine.

  • Monica Dennington is explicity charging the second point to be true based on scripture. The charges against MD are misdirected to imply her denial or misunderstanding of the truths that exist under the umbrella of Calvinism (worship of Chirst and not Calvin) instead of against her clarification that any denomination itself by its very existence irrespective of its doctrine is in direct conflict with scripture and leads to division within the body of Christ.

  • There are over 50,000 denominations in Christianity in the world today and the numbers are growing. The growth is the result of flesh overtaking the spirit as we are prone to allow due to our very nature as fallen creatures of God.

  • Man's formation of Calvinism or Lutheranism or Presbyterianism is an attempt to reclaim for ourselves more significance importance meaning for our version of what scripture really says and therefore places us as having a clearer understanding than the other denominations who don't have it quite right.

  • The arrogant and self centered manifestation of our need to create our own importance within the body of Christ is reflected in over 50,000 Christian denominations. The division should be self evident.

  • It is not the congregations themselves necessarily within a particular denom. who profess their disdain for non-members - it is rather their mere implicit acceptance into that body as distinctive from another denom. which makes this a subtle form of divisiveness within a unified body. We have chosen an interpretation of scripture in a sense that is in accord with ourselves and our own sensibilities instead of allowing scripture itself to discern truth. A very subtle yet important distinction.

  • she blocks everyone. my comment was only very mildly critical and included a praise in the same sentence and i was blocked.

i suppose she wouldnt want to read the verse about not being high minded and that we should be willing to communicate with all of the brethren.

  • Her method of boxing herself into the center of supporters and rejecting outright anyone who disputes what she says is a tad cultish. Any teacher worth their salt will be able to obliterate lies with the truth. If she can't defend what she's saying - should she be saying it at all? Well, of course - no.

  • ..to respond to a video she'd recently done and I found myself blocked. Wow! I can only assume she saw my comments on videos like this one and preemptively blocked me in case I ever wandered over to one of her videos again.

  • I've been aware of Monica for some time now and when she first came to my attention, I really didn't pay much attention. But when I got "that feeling" from listening to some of her messages, I avoided her. What I listened to didn't exactly require a heretic label but... it just seemed incomplete at best. Then this video was posted and it made sense. I've never addressed her directly and attempted...

  • what a messed up woman she is!

  • The woman has no business in a teaching ministry anyhow.

  • A good example of why religion is the most divisive entity on the planet. How many types of christianity are there?

  • I don't like Monica. I politely disagreed with something she said, and she blocked me, removed me from her subscribers list and friends list. It was only my first or second comment I ever made on one of her videos. Not nice at all what she did! I don't need so-called "Christians" like that in my life. She showed her true colors that day. Arrogant she is. I hope she sees my comment!

  • @FireThunderTV Obviously - this is her method to weed out dissenters. Kind of like Scientology. If you're curious - look up Scientology - Suppressive Persons.

  • earthygreen: Well, it's mean, abusive and it's how cults operate. Thanks for replying to my comment.

  • ZEUS J E S U S

  • You think this is bad? You should hear her teaching that God is no 3 in one, not 4, not 5, not 6.......7!!!!! 7 IN ONE, yep.....

  • let's do the twist, if the HOLY SPIRIT IS A WOMEN THEN THE HOLY SPIRIT IS A LESBIAN BUT NOT ONLY LESBIAN BUT TRANS GENDER BECAUSE THE HOLY SPIRIT IMPREGNATED THE BLESSED MOTHER MARRY AND AN ADULTEROUS TO BOOT, BEING THAT GOD IS THE HOLY SPIRITS HUSBAND ! OOOOOOOKAY

  • mrs dennington must repent from some of her teachings, i think she finds herself very wise, but i dont think she is. Didnt Paul said woman must be silent? :) If I she this woman, I think Paul is absolutely right!

  • "Never let us be guilty of sacrificing any portion of Truth on the altar of peace."

    ~ J.C. Ryle

  • Monica Dennington should make vids recanting her false teaching.

  • BibleOrTraditions video's rock!!!

  • LOL. Monica rocks and she kicks ass.

  • Monica is a false teacher - check out her vids claiming the Holy Spirit is a she even tho Jesus states numerous times HS is a HE.

    watch?v=pF-UyjawQ-I and watch?v=tzfoUgx9SJk and watch?v=vbCR-t2U_Sw and watch?v=SiNCtzvxclo and watch?v=etMIgHWiHlo

So many rebukes to Monica but her heart is hard = the LORD rebuke her.

  • Yeah, because of the lies she says about the Holy Spirit, I fear for her soul.

  • you should learn greek... or get a concordance... or a interlinear bible..

Because the He for the Hs , is a huge error...

  • amen. she needs to repent.

  • Monica Dennington has espoused Gnostic and Kaballistic doctrines.

  • MD contridicted her self, if the holy spirt is female and it was because of the H.S why the Christ child was born, if the holy spirit caused marys conception the H.S must be a lesbian.

    MD is spouting blasphamy.

  • @godsplumbline

    Good point.

  • Monica Dennington is a false teacher...she is grossly misrepresenting Calvinism

  • Now she's also teaching that the Holy Spirit is female. She's a full blown heretic.

  • wow... I don't know what to say! I just checked that out, I can't believe she just openly says things like that. Also, she denies the trinity, on what basis? Oh right, the word isn't in the Bible..... wow!

  • @LaneCh hi lanech it is good you have touch on her, was getting sick of seeing her on youtube.

  • @LaneCh I take offense that the sheer implication that the Holy Spirit is a female consitutes Monica Dennington as a heretic.....That is the thing that stands out to you.....thinking gender at all regarding God is ridiculus...Think about it, do you think God has a gaint penis????? God formed humans in his likeness Male and Female....I do not necessarly belief either but your tone implies you might have some natural tendency somewhat insulting to women. I'm just saying!!!!!!

  • @terrigreen100 Well, Jesus was born and CIRCUMSIZED, which means he had a penis. He spoke of the Holy Spirit using all male pronouns. And He rose from the dead and now sits at the right hand of the FATHER in all His male Glory!

And, for the record, I am a woman. ;)

  • @LaneCh

A whore of Babylon, drunk on the blood of the saints, sent to deceive us all.

  • @LaneCh That is true. I question if she is even regenerate, given that she, like the cults, distorts the proper view of a member of the trinity.

  • @LaneCh she shouldn't even be teaching the bible , 1 Timothy 2:12..

  • @LaneCh She's truly a heretic!

  • @LaneCh I've heard the term "heretic" used a lot. What exactly does it mean? Does it mean someone who is beyond saving? Does it mean someone who has a simple disagreement? What is the position of a heretic?

  • People are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

  • no people are destroyed because of their rebellion and sin against a perfectly holy, righteous, and just God.

  • That was a bible quote.

  • of what religion you belong to?

Monica Dennington, last film she say that Holy Spirit is a woman, and God is man.

    LOL

  • Unification church are similar. They believe that God the Father and the female Holy spirit are the true parents. While that's true scripture describes the HS with feminine pronouns, that does not prove that the HS must be female. Just that the HS like God has what are considered feminine characteristics. Both Monica and Unification Church are a little off in their conclusions.

  • Monica has just made a video saying that the Holy Spirit is female, so i posted this verse -

1 Thessolonians 4:8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us HIS Holy Spirit.

And she removed it and BLOCKED me! haha

Someone should warn her, because she is preaching pagan mother goddess worship now.

  • this may be a dumb question but what is a calvinist? i am not into denominations so i dont know..

  • Well if you don't stick to the KJV you get confused.

  • I prefer to read the Bible in the original Greek and Hebrew.

  • Well as long as you are reading the original Greek and Hebrew manuscripts that the KJV is based on, it's the same thing.

  • You have favourited a video by Pat Condell, that Satanist that hates Jesus? wow

  • Amen...

  • I am definitely NOT a Calvinist. I am not even a Protestant, I am an Orthodox Christian. Dennington is a moron, plain and simple.

  • Monica, after reviewing your accusations against Calvinists, I can say you are bearing false witness against them! You owe an apology to Calvinists!

  • Monica is a confused Arminian. What about you Monica? Don't you put your trust in your own free will and in Jacob Arminius?

  • One thing I would like to point out here that if I am filled with the Holy Sprit then before I make a hest to talk about big debates I will understand scripture completely and will not ignore the very command of my heavenly father mentioned in Ex 20:4 You shall not make unto yourself any graven image..and so the question in my heart troubles me about the Cross that the Monioca is wearing all the time. Which even makes me think twice of the genuineness of the purpose behind her message msg..??

  • Lane, you are very mocking in your deconstruction this is called derision. Monica did not mock anyone her intent is obviously more pure than yours, by far! The object of her defense is Christ, whereas, the object of your defense is a faction. Monica is NOT teaching against the teachings of Calvin! She is teaching against the tactics and obvious idol worship in a growing faction. Youre not stupid. Just peruse the Internet in search for such Calvinist blogs.

  • The problem is she never gives an example of the type of Calvinist she is teaching against. I don't know any Calvinist who believes or does the things she accuses them of. That's the problem.

Since you have already perused the internet and found them, could you edify me and post a link? And remember, she accused these things of ALL Calvinists, not a growing faction within the Calvinists.

Also, this is not LaneCh in the video. It's Chris Rosebrough.

  • If Monica is God's chosen vessel to rebuke Calvinists, he must think very little of us and is determined to keep us confirmed in our sins.

  • ha ha ha ha ha! lol

  • haha i love chris rosebrough. bless his lutheran heart. thanks lane for this.

  • america has 1 big problem with christianity, way way way way way too many denominations

and now your fighting against each other, yay satan wins !

  • freedomsoldier187, ou know, that's exactly what Monnica Dennington was talking about - the splitting of Christians against each other over issues such as thepological doctrine.

If theres an argument with true, bible-following Cristians on both sides of the Divide, it is NOT an argument sent by God.

  • Really only two. The true and the false. yay satan loses!

  • People choose to fight against each other. It is a part of our sinful nature. I think God I belong to a church where an arminian a calvinist sit in the same pews. And we all love each other. I just dont think she really understands refomed theology. I have to admit I was a baptist when I becuase a chirsitan and I do had major issues with calivinism. After reading th bible I realize somthing. I was wrong. If I am in jail for my faith wheather arminian or calivist I fellowship with them.

  • The women do not have the authority to preach acording to the Bible. They do not realy care about that...even the basic comand of our Lord Jesus - to be baptised - is not done. The same with covering of the head, and gold earings, and tatoos. These are worldly people. HEY WAKE UP AND REPENT!

  • women don't care about the basic gospel? Where do you get that from? The basic command of Jesus is to be baptised? Really? Not to Love as He loved? Come on...

    BTW, I'm baptised LOL

ANYONE has authority in Christ to preach the gospel. As long as it is done appropriately, and in Monicas case it clearly goes against what the bible says.

  • against what the bible states; wow you put it nicely and I thank YOU for that because I'm a work in progress so I am not ready to respond to her fallacious statements. I thank ya'll who are able to do so without it coming off, in a way that would not glorify the Lord. He is working on me LOL, I'M QUITE A PROJECT LOL BUT I LOVE HIM WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL BUT PEOPLE LIKE HER MAKE IT SO HARD FOR ME TO LIVE IN LOVE WITH FALLACIOUS, lying people. God Bless.

  • Where in the Bible do women even have the authority to preach?

  • Monica addresses this. Her husband is her covering and he is the one recording her and behind her teachings.

  • Comment removed

  • Uh,how EXACTLY is Monica Dennington "cunningly deceptive"?

You are accusing her of deceit, in other words.

Go ahead and present your case against her.

Other than that, you are just railing accusations without justification. Go head, make an actual case, using the Word, to show how she is "cunningly deceptive".

Thanks. Will be waiting for your essay and explanation.

BTW, you don't do this? You will be railed against accusingly yourself. "As you have done, it will be done to you..."

  • Perhaps I have implied the wrong idea here. Thanks for the response I stand corrected. I think the precise wording to replace "Cunningly Deceptive" would have to be that she is misled and she is in grave error in her interpretation of scripture. I have had to take a step back to assess my own attitude towards her. She added me to her facebook but she axed me the same evening without a peep from both her and myself. I grieve over a lot of her statements. She really drives with antagonism.

  • SunDoggs, no, it's fine to have a problem with someone's theology. But you don't state exactly what your problem with Monica actually is. What exactly is she "misled" about? And what are her "grave errors" of interpretation of Scripture?

Scripture is not for anyone's private interpretation, so let it rip, and tell me and everyone else exactly where Monica has gone wrong. Thanks.

  • 500 Characters does not permit me to let it rip as for Where she is misled. To list a few areas, First Woman in the Pulpit. Two Her statements about Calvinism are spoken based on her feelings She Makes Statements about BIBLICAL Terminology which brings a foggy idea to those whom may not understand terms and leaves people with a belief based on what she has said about these terms

Are you in agreement with her, do you not hear the twisting or are you supporting Monica Dennington???

  • Cooperpal, did you listen to this video? Almost two hours of pointing out where Monica has gone wrong. She accuses Calvinist of worshipping Calvin and dividing the body of Christ, and gives NO evidence for any of her charges! None!

Not to mention the new video of her claiming that the Holy Spirit is female. She also said the Holy Spirit(she) and the Father(he) came together and created Jesus and if we don't believe this, we make God a homosexual! She actually says this! In her video!

  • I am aware and not happy with the new stuff.

  • I was actually a lister on Monica's, until that Holy Sprit video of hers. That is a really bad teaching, and she has yet to make videos refuting any concerns I or other listeners have shared.

But I do agree that calvinism is horrible. Calvin taught that usury is ok. I think he was basically an agent of the Vatican, trying to get christians to accept usury, thereby allowing the catholic church's Vatican Bank, to become the strong, world controling entity it is today.

  • Your message seems muddled within the first 10 minutes.

What I hear is that you say they were united in their teaching, then turn around and say they were not.

I also thought this was supposed to be about what Monica Dennington said. Then you go out to left field and talk about.... I don't know what.

    Please stick to the point.

  • How far in to the program did you get?

  • I admit that I turned it off around 12 minutes. Maybe I lack the patience to listen to your message.

  • No problem. A little further in, the entire video Mrs. Dennington posted on her channel is played and critiqued.

  • @LaneCh When she said that the Holy Spirit is a woman, I was awestruck. I was hoping the woman was legit. I started listening to her, and at first she sounded okay. But, when I saw her say the Holy Spirit is a woman, I was like: "Oh, no. Down goes another one." lol

  • I dont understand why people argue over whether or not we chose God or He chose us...and thinking about it why cant it be both? Maybe, some situations are different?

As lond as Im close with God and please Him...I dont really care how I got there:)

  • So why not sit down with this woman and correct her in a loving way like Priscilla and Acquilla did with Apollos? As far as i can see/hear, she is addressing the body of Christ and is admonishing them in the same way Paul did with the YOUNG Christians of his day. So she mentions the name Calvin. Heck she could've thrown out the name Charlie Brown for all I care. Is she not preaching salvation thru Christ and Christ alone?... so whats your problem? Why the big chip on your shoulder?

  • Why aren't you admonishing her to have sat down and spoken with us before she made her video? It seems that your critique can cut both ways so if you only meant for it to pertain to one side, you maybe should have thought of that before you made it.

  • Not all unity is from Heaven and not all division is from hell.

  • So true.

  • Frankly, I lean towards Calvinism myself too, & sincerely enjoy AW Pink's books. I know I suffer heinously from pride. My point is that all this squabbling amongst Christians makes us look ridiculous. I have to defend my faith to my unsaved family all the time because of these divisions. I would rather call out Joel Osteen or Rick Warren. Tic toc ministries does preach in the name of Christ & remains Christ centered. I do not intend my reply to be unloving or condemning, please do not attack me.

  • @ginnynorman

"My point is that all this squabbling amongst Christians makes us look ridiculous"

"Squabbling" is not the correct word. As if we were arguing over who likes white vs. chocolate milk. Serious arguments are being made (at least, from many), and that shows that we are serious about getting the truth right. There could be no higher compliment given to Christians than that we seek to know God's truth.

  • Yes, women are not to preach or pastor in the church. Tictoc Youtube ministry is done so men do not HAVE to watch it! She is not ministering to you specifically. Why are you attacking her? Why are you so sure of your own views? Could it be arrogance that convinces you of your own perfection? Are you willing to concede that you MIGHT be wrong? Only by reading Scripture prayerfully, with an open heart can you ever discern the truth. Search your heart for pride, repent if you see it & move on.

  • I would hope that no one is attacking her, especially if we are Christians here. I certainly do not feel the person reviewing her video is "attacking" her. He just demolished her argument, which is fine. She could learn a lot from this video, not only about Calvinism, but about herself and her method of argument as well.

  • I put my faith in Jesus' perfection,I have none.

  • well regardless if your Christian call your self Christian not baptist Presbyterian etc...

  • Hi akaboo69,

When we boil it all down, I agree that all who God has redeemed are "Christians", however, our denominational labels help us to summarize more specifically what we believe. Most Americans consider themselves "Christian" by birthright, so someone who calls themselves a Christian is not necessarily one. My brother, who is a Mormon, calls himself a Christian.

  • Monica is such a charlatan .

  • Women should not teach men, they always bring in heresy.

  • There's also alot of men that teach heresies.

  • blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah

  • I have great respect for women that really put their life on the line for Jesus by being missionarys preaching the Gospel all over the worlds.Unfortunately Too many spurn the plain scripture on men leading the church in the pastoral espistles and do not teach the children as well as turn away from missions preaching the gospel.

  • you failed before you started my friend i know you want to defend calvanism but you set such a poor self relective argument and stand only in defence...she is sooo not out of context. she is young and strong encourage her..discouragement is a sin

  • Are you trying to discourage me from Calvinism?

I do encourage you to spell correctly. It's "Calvinism" not "calvanism".

  • couldn't finish it...are we trying to see who can talk the longest?

  • No, we're trying to see who speaks the truth.

  • One thing I do like about Monica is that her videos aren't two hours long ;-)

  • OH GOD, I CAN'T BELIEVE PEOPLE ARE ARGUING AS TO WHO IS HOLIER THAT WHOM!! This is obvioulsy work of those that would tear us apart. WAKE UP!!!!!! Anyone attacking a Christian is wrong!!!!!!!!!

  • What errors?

  • Wow, you just proved her point within the first 10 minutes of this video, with Appolos!

  • ...and you didn't prove your assertion withing the first posting of it. How about do that now?

  • No need! That affirmation was for me!

  • Well, as long as a person believes it, it must be true. No need to defend that position. Glad to know that Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnessism, Islam, and Satanism can all be accepted as valid as long as it is "affirmed" for someone. No need to actually explain why.

    Sheesh.

  • I'm confused. Monica is indicting Calvinists of the sin of idolatry. Yet this man Chris seems to not understand this, and basically agrees with the problem of the sin of idolatry (elevating any 'teacher" over the Name of Christ).. other than this, I don't appreciate the condescending tone towards MD: "aggressive self marketer" blah blah blah. Anyway, who cares about Calvinists anymore? The Apostolic Prophetic Cult of the NAR and the Emergent Church is the end time Apostasy. Boring critique.

  • Chris needs to save his "bullets" of Christian criticism for Todd Bentley, Cindy Jacobs, Bill Hamon, C Peter Wagner (Rick Warren's mentor), Rick Joyner, Bob Jones, John Crowder, Jim Goll, Paul Cain and the whole bunch of these Apostolic Prophetic Dominionists who will "kill us and believe they are doing a duty for God" because they don't seem to know that the Joel 2 Army is the army sent by God but not OF God... Monica Dennington is the least of anyone's worries and she DOES PREACH THE WORD.
