I am curious if you actually use any engines that require track power during the winter as I imagine snow melt water would probably interfere with the electrical gaps on any track layout other than a single loop and short out the power supply. I'm basing my logic on a table top scale setup where both rails were powered.

All 3 Eggliners are battery powered with 12 volts worth of rechargeable batteries. But believe it or not, track power does work in the snow at these voltages.

Actually it was a relatively wet snow. One Eggliner wouldn't do it, so I had to get the three of them together!

Thanks! That tune was featured in the 1957 movie "The Bridge on the River Kwai" starring Alec Guinness. It seems to fit the video pretty well.
