I speak spanish, (latin american version) and I must say, this EU version is beautiful. I'm in love with this version now...for some reason it sounds more truthful to the original in English. =)
oh my god! how can i love this songs so much? is just beatiful and so romantic! even in english and all kind of spanish the message is the same in all the laguages :)
I don't understand what's wrong with commenting in Spanish if that's the language this version of the song is sung in! It's ridiculous to censor comments in such a way, and for no apparent reason.
@rococostyle There is a very good reason, because first: I'm Dutch, and Spanish is a language I don't understand. Second: People started to argue about whether the Castillian Spanish or the Latin Spanish version is better in Spanish. When people comment in English, I can understand what they say and I can see when they argue. Because with some help from a translator I kinda understood what people were saying and I was shocked with the word choice of some people. Understand it now?
@Georgtokiohotel Sure, but I still don't really agree with you doing that. Not all comments posted in a language other than English are inflammatory. People have positive things to say as well. Youtube is an international website, people use it from all over the world. You're not going to understand everything you see/read. Besides, if you hate the arguments, aren't they easier for you to handle if you don't understand a word. XD
@rococostyle Sure, but YouTube isn't a place to argue. Discussions are ok, but arguments are not done in my opinion. I can see your point, but I don't agree with you. I want the focus to be on the vid itself, I don't like comments at all on those vids. Multilanguages, all right, some credit to the editor. But for plain music vids like this one, no comments are necessary, no credits for the YouTuber. I just put it on YouTube so that people can enjoy it and not as an argumentstarter.
It was called"La princesa encantada" This Spanish version is different than the one I watched. In this one they pronounce the "th" and they're voices are higher. This one also sounds pretty ! :D
This Spanish version is different than the one I watched. In this one they pronounce the "th" and they're voices are higher. The one I watched was different and so were their voices.
Im just wondering because I dont know much about spanish but could someone explain to me what are the diffrences between Latin spanish and European Spanish?
There are some slight differences. One of the most noticeable is they way we pronounce the letter 'c' before e and i. Spaniards say 'th' as in 'think' and Latin Americans say 's'. Another one is the use of certain words (vosotros vs ustedes, meaning 'you' in the plural form) and verbal conjugations: he terminado vs terminé (I've finished) or vosotros sois vs ustedes son ('you are', in plural form)
the voice o the girl is really good, she's the one who also made voices for Nala ( lion king) and Yasmin princess ( aladdin) she's a pretty good singer. love this movie
Odette's voice is ok, but Derek sounds very bad, The Spanish version from Latin America a.k.a the Mexican version (all dubs are made in Mexico) has better voices!.
Also the translating is kinda bad, "Far Longer Than Forever"-->"Until The End Of The World" (Hasta el final del mundo)?
The LA version, is more accurate, I believe that's another point in favor.
I know that in Latin Spanish it is "Por más que para siempre" (Longer than forever). That translation is certainly more accurate, but the direct translation sounds strange and kind of artificial to me as an EU Spanish speaker. I agree about Derek's voice, it could have been better, although to me it is still OK. However, I love Odette's voice, it's beautiful and sweet IMO.
It is a good translation, because in Spanish "Hasta el final del mundo" is an expression wich means more or less the same as the original.
It means that they'll love each other until the end of the world: forever. And Derek says "Y más allá del mundo" so it means that when the world disapear he will continue loving her.
So it is a good translation, if they had translated it literally it would sound very strange because in Spanish it isn't a correct expression.
i love spanish! is my favourite lenguage... però l'italiano è molto meglio....is fantastic this voice which read the prevew!!!ahahahahahhahahahahan ...un figataaaaa.....NA FIGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa

Latin Spanish is spoken in Southern America, European Spanish in Spain. Minor changes in pronunciation (and spelling but I'm not sure)
