Thanks for replying. This video is from 3 years ago. He plays now is North Wake Baseball.  He takes pitching lessons from Elliott Johnson (Durham Bulls/Tampa Bay Rays). Are you from Durham?

No I'm from chapel hill, I played on some allstar teams in durham. He was pretty good for 7, I'm currently a freshman in highschool.

Two things I noticed.

1) He's not moving fast enough.. you want to move explosively leading with the front hip, as it helps take stress off the arm, can put the body in a better position to throw (better control) and increases velocity (more elastic energy)

The other thing is that he tends to direct some of his energy to the first base side (2:44). You want to move towards the target. This can also add stress to the arm, as well as affect velocity and control
