I loved that game, very realistic for a mid 90's game...I have been looking for the companion to that game, Nick Keren's Ultimate Utilities. I have it for TLB3 and TLB4, but not for TLB2.
@ theelusiveone - do you have tony larussa 96 CD game or did you download it? I downloaded Tony Larussa 96 and I am having problems getting it to work.
I'm not sure but I know where to get the 1996 edition which most people consider the best version....just GOOGLE: "Tony Larussa Baseball 1996 megaupload" and follow the first link. If you need help getting it to work than GOOGLE: "vogons tony larussa 3 help" and follow that first link.

Probably my favorite baseball game, just ahead of Hardball 3 and 4. There was an option for the manager to argue with the umpire, and if you did it enough times, he got thrown out of the game. I never knew if that served any purpose.
I couldn't play it worth a damn, but I loved all the in-depth stats and the game engine. Creating whole teams? 40-man rosters? Player portraits? 41 different stadiums? Play by play and simulating entire seasons in fifteen minutes? It's hard to imagine now but this was all monumentally ground-breaking stuff in 1993.
I loved Hardball 3 too but I kept getting this stupid glitch where the base-runners would only run at 1/10th speed...

I love how the game shows a generic video of Barry Bonds hitting a homer.

BY FAR! the most realistic game of its era. Not even close! No console games were a speck of dust on this game's ass

Great game. I remember they used the Barry Bonds highlight swing whenever a home run was hit.
