  • So, which pixels are who?

  • I like the part where the pixels moved.

  • If I had dollar for every pixel in this video i would have a nickle

  • he didn't brwak him. He carried the ball. Iverson carried the ball a lot in his career and he was fast. Once them legs went he just couldn't do it no more since his jump shot was horrible.

  • Quality is worse than minecraft

  • That was actually a really bad shot, he just happened to make it. Great defense. Not even AI can cross Hardaway.

  • I reckon ppl deliberately put vids on youtube with bad quality on purpose!!

  • Which pixel was a pixel?

  • Beeper recorder?

  • Witch pixel is Allen Iverson?

  • which pixel is hardaway?

  • too bad we couldn't see.

  • which pixel was wearing white?

  • I get a dime for every pixel in this video. that comes to, aww no shit 1 dime. xD

  • this really deserves a fuckin pixel joke ...

  • 240p we meet again >.<

  • you record this with an etch a sketch man?

  • Video recorded by your household water heater? Shit.

  • If it wasnt for the sound how can any1 tell thats hardaway?

  • This must have been when toasters were used as DVRs

  • Yup, don't mind getting beat, if it's beat well.

  • lol which pixel is iverson?

  • gotta love HD quality

  • Was not a break at all you wanna see breaks look at timmy do his thang

  • i was going to comment.was this filmed with a microwave. but them jokes are funny anymore.

  • The title should say "Tim Hardaway doesn't fall for Iverson's tricks". You do know Tim Hardaway had made the best crossover move of all-time right?

  • @chabowker No u've got it wrong. "Tim Hardaway doesn't fall for Iverson's tricks but gets scored on anyways because iverson is an amazing scorer." Now that's better.

  • @StephenJung1 Yeah because every title should be a fucking paragraph. GTFO loser.

  • @chabowker Atleast it sounds better than a fake title.

  • @StephenJung1 Atleast it sounds better than a fake title.

  • @chabowker Atleast im original

  • would be cool if it was real...

  • Did you recorded it by pumpkin?

  • Ill take great offense over great defense any day!

  • thats not broken ankles, his hand was in his face, ai just hit a tough shot

  • Holy Crap My old big dat TV has more pixels then this

  • the uploader is retarded!!! Great defense, the shot just dropped. Thats how you defensed Iverson... stay in front and contest the shot. If it drops it drops. Timmy kept him out of the paint and off the line.

  • Which pixel is Iverson?

  • if i can get a penny for every pixel in this video,id have 76 cents : /

  • I never knew toasters can record underwater

  • well im glad to see you recorded this with your microwave

  • best quality on youtube

  • Not even a close call to breaking tims ankles.

  • Hardaway was breakin ankles w/ the crossover in the NBA before AI was

  • Funny how the video of LeBron putting up good defense on Kobe and Kobe dishing the shot gets so many likes compared to this (same) situation

  • that was funny

  • i get it the quality sucks, dont have to make repeated comments about filming with a toaster

  • maybe i should start using my calculator to film videos

  • amazing defense, great quick release

  • Tim Hardway played very good defense. Of course he did, after all, he's the original KING OF THE CROSSOVER.

  • did you film this with a toaster?

  • the hardaway's crossover was more difficult to do than the AI's cause he dribbled between the legs before changing direction and accelerating !!

  • I like dat

  • timmy knows the crossover to good to go for it and ais j is to good to contest

  • which pixel is iverson

  • man talk about negative pixels..

  • this video is fuckin stupid... he didn't break anybody's ankles..

  • he didnt break him but he show did create enough space with the cross for the jump shot

  • Timmy knows the crossover too well to go for it.

  • @EliasJordan3 exactly

  • two of the best 1 on 1 wont see this any time soon!!!!

  • Timmy was doing it before A.I. do your homework

  • nice shot, but Timmy actually defended well. This is not a break

  • good d. he got just enough separation and made the shot. Guess that wouldn't make a good title tho

  • iverson served timmy dont hate

  • this is stupid, he didnt break hardaway.

  • Hardaway didn't bite. good defense.

  • He wasn't trying to get by him, I guess people not looking at the video, he backed him up to get his space he needed to shoot the jumper, good D but Timmy still backed up off it, I could see if tim didn't get shook or didn't go anywhere but he did.

  • No one breaks anyone's ankles. Great offense > great defense everytime!

  • @bjriffic that doesnt roll in the playoffs.

  • he didnt break him.great defense.better shot

  • @closest2nike exactly what i was going to say

  • and iverson didnt even get by him he just made a good shot

  • @animebrawler Iverson's crossover>hardaway's crossover. and thats real

  • @MrJeckel

Hardaway was MUCH better at getting to the basket and finding a high percentage shot. Iverson was good at creating space, but too often hoisted up bad jumpers. Hardaways crossover resulted in easier shots (at least..in his prime it did).

  • it more like a passing of the torch because before AI Timmy was the KING of leaving people with weak ankles.

  • no break, timmy defended well

  • Tim just laughed like good one kid.

  • should be "iverson shoots over tim hardaway"

  • @redhockey haha ya EVERYONE GIVE THIS VIDEO 1/5

  • its not ownage 'its just a challenge but just normal after all.this vid wasted my time.

  • Yeah I wouldn't call this "breaking" Hardaway, not by a long shot.

  • That was actually good defense on Hardaways end..

  • @PriceGetsItDone exactly what i was going to say.

  • they were just dancing.

  • that shit was wack

  • no breaking

but he did whoop him something glory

  • What a waste of my time

  • He didn't break him....

  • Check me out tell me what you think. Shavar Newkirk. Thank You

  • he didnt break him...hardaway stayed with iverson the whole time. it was just a great shot by AI

  • ..it was a good move..i wouldn't call it a break..created just enough space to get the shot off..

  • AI fuckin carried the ball!!!!!

  • he didn't break him..

  • He momentarily got him off his back so he could let it rain! Allen Iverson is my favorite!

  • wow this sucked..he didn't break hardaway at all..

  • Who's the real Mr. Crossover?

  • A.I.!!!! or Deron Williams

  • if dwayne wade mastered it than ben wallace shoots 50% from behind the ark...

  • haha you have no idea what you're talking about

  • god youre a fucking idiot...i mean i usually dont post shot this obvious or blatant but your idiocy just surprises me.

  • word....

wade is good but he is half way of his career, maybe he will master the crossover later... who knows?

  • that was legal back then dickhead

  • The rule on carrying has never changed. Its just that the refs dont call it much in the NBA. I copied this for you straight from the NBA rule book:

    a. The dribble ends when the dribbler:

    (2) Permits the ball to come to rest while he is in control of it

Iverson clearly let the ball come to a rest high in his left hand before his crossover. His hand was on the side of the ball. And thats a violation, Hardaway's cross was fast and he didnt have to cup the ball to beat defenders.

  • a carry is when ya hand goes under the ball and could get away with it back then and every time it happens now they call dickhead u new to b-ball

  • Iverson carried the ball. Check out at about :08...the ball comes to a dead stop with his hand completely cupping the side of the ball. Totally illegal (even though the refs in the NBA dont care).

  • Actually I believe they let players have the hand on the side. You can't have your hand under it or palm it. He did neither so yea...

  • Good "D", Jus A Great Shot.........

  • there was never or ever be another crossover like the utep two step!!!!!!! tim hardaway chicago!!!!!!!!!

  • tht was just good defense... allen iverson also has range besides his crossover... like hardaway

  • good defense... he didn't go for it. iverson got a good shot off

  • Yeah, good D, but good shot.

  • lmfao this asshole doesnt know what he is talking about... "another victim of the answer" hahahaha stupid...

  • Tim started and owns the killer crossover. Aint no one gonna be better then him. Al didnt break him at all.

    UTEP-2-STEP baby!

  • Nahhhh dude. Allen took Tim's move and made it better. He put a little more body lean in so it looks even nastier than Tim's. Tim just had a quicker handle.

  • Sorry the the UTEP is more efficient. Does not have any wasted motion. Faster and more deceptive to actually changing direction. The Swing crossover is cool but can result in a carry and frankly is not as deceptive as most good players do not actually drive with the ball high which actually questions the defense abliity of players who apparenlty do not know how to read a players movments. Lowered on the move would be more deceptive.

  • The more motion you use the better. And if you do it right and keep your hand on the side of the ball, you will never get called 4 carrying.

  • True but alot of players do not do that consistently. Iverson has carried with the move before but not every time. Hardaways has more lean and power. The swing crossover is deceptive when it is low off a strong step but is overexaggerated when raised high and is predictable. Successful against subpar defenders. Has to be combined with another move for maximum effectiveness.

  • Iverson did not invent it. Learned it from Dean Berry when he was at Georgetown.

  • Yeah cuz Berry kept killing AI with it in practice. Of course. All I'm saying is that Allen Iverson's crossover works better and is nastier than Hardaways, even though he learned from Hardaway and Berry.

  • they very different crossovers. AI goes from left to right but Tim puts the ball between his legs than comeback with it very quickly. Very different

  • whos dean berry?

  • Point guard for Georgetown when A.I. was there. Use to kill A.I. in practice with it. Learned it from him.

  • how do you no that for sure?? (just asking)

  • Read a SLAM issue back in the 90s. Also talked abou in the book Only the Strong.

  • oo dats cool.. by any chance do you no when that ai movie is coming out?

  • No I cannot.

  • Two crossover legends going at it. I know one thing its crazy how some people think A.I. carries when he never has his hand under the ball. Its always on the side. Nevertheless two generations of the crossovers a nice battle.

  • finally some one had brought that up/never under but on d side/thats not carrying @ all/

  • not a cross but a facial.

  • Not a broken ankle.

  • First of all that was good defense, second A.I. carried the ball, why do you think he rarely crosses anybody these days because they'll call carry on his ass.

  • tf?

  • that wasnt breaking do you even play basketball

  • Ya this vid sucks. That was good D by Tim. There is no one on the planet that could have gotten a piece of that.

  • tim didnt even budge, AI just sinked the shot. this video blows my dick.

  • i saw plenty of games between tim and iverson and i can tell you that tim schooled iverson more than iverson did him.

  • I'm a big AI fan and even I don't think he crossed the Bug on this play.

  • ahahaha

yo man, this young teenagers didn't see tim hardaway playing in his heydays in 89-93, until he tore his right ACL and lost his quickness (and please notice that when hardaway returned he still was a premier PG).

Back then Hardaway brought this innovatibe dribble called (killer) crossover and broke everyone's ankles trying to guard him. To name a few:

    - J. Stockton

    - K. Johnson

    - Gary Payton (against whom timmy dropped 41pts/18assts in last game of 93 season)

    - T. Porter

    - M. Jackson

  • I agree, Tim started this killer crossover thing!!

  • he didnt break tim here wtf?

  • No he didnt break Tim here!It was Good Defense on His Part and Just Better Offense on A.I's Part to Shit on Him anyway.

  • he hit the shot what u talkin about?

  • he means if he misses the j... damn, get an education.

  • he aint cross Tim. Tim is the OG of crossovers in the NBA. he was killin everyones ankles when he 1st hit the scene. he played D expecting the cross from AI. thats why AI had to shoot the J. he misses the J and where not even commenting on this clip at all lol.

  • he missed the J?

  • all teenagers would say that AI's is better but when you already have seen tim you change your mind.there is legal cross over...oh and AI didn't break tim hardaway on this video!!??

  • Yeah true that "ChristianDBrown" before when people where crossing over, David's bitch ass didn't care but after Iverson came in the in all of a sudden he wanted to band his cornrows and crossover, how do you band a hair style and a crossover? Guess he was too Hip Hop and not enough corporate. They didn't band Kobe's carryin' ass or anything he does, as long as you keep your hand on top the ball its not a carry but when you cuff it or take that step then cross, its a carry

  • i would say iverson is king of crossover #1 and timmy is the prince #2. both legendary

  • Tim Hardaway had a true legal crossover...Iverson carries it ALOT!

  • he didnt break hardaway. thats a joke

  • 2 legends of the crossover facin each other...ooo....id take AI over hardaway though

  • not a good video

  • dats a simple crossover but he didn't own him or something

  • tim didn't even get owned.

he's the best at cross overs

  • I wouldn't say if one was better than the other. Their crossovers were different but they both got the job done. But I do think that AI's looked better in my opinion.

  • looked better yeah because he got to put time into perfecting it but tim was quick just two crosses and it was over no matter who you where

  • Tim was the original crossover king... Iverson however in his prime had the best crossover in nba history a lot of guys had skills but not iverson crossover skills

  • wtf? AI didnt own Tim....

  • tim didnt get owned it just was good d vs way better o

  • that wasnt ownage.

  • there u go ai, fucking this wack ass tim hardway, hatin on ai, now tim knows what happens when u hate on ai

  • tim defended well against AI...after all tim gots some excellent crossovers.

  • yea he didnt break him. he stuck with him but AI is just so hard to guard

  • ehhhh Iverson is an amazing HOF but timmy had the greatest crossover of all time. That one in particular wasn't as nice as his others

  • i'ma say this...you are correct...the crossover that ai does against tim hardaway is not as nice...but it was good... iverson may have the quickest crossover but tim hardaway had the most EFFECTIVE crossover... not to say that iverson isn't effective but it's not as effective as timmy's... plus timmy made the crossover famous in the begining...sort of...

  • Tim Hardaway had a quicker crossover than AI..

  • AI is better than hardaway at crossovers. this was probably one of AI's worst crossovers to make it to youtube, and he managed to get free

  • nooooo my friend. We all know Iverson is better but Timmy had the most effective and prettiest crossover. He essentially started its popularity and Iverson continued and tweaked it

  • Hardaway was better than AI at crossovers...you must have never seen Tim in his prime

  • you must have never seen AI in his prime

i bet tim couldnt cross jordan

  • he did actually...I have seen Tim break MJ's ankles...I saw both Tim and AI in their primes...Tim was more known for it...more known than AI was for his..that is how good Tim's was

  • tim was only more known for it because he was the one who popularized it. and show me the video of tim breaking MJ.

  • no he was known for it because his was the best...even guys that play today like DWade say Tim's was the best

  • your full of shit, it wasnt until iverson came into the league and displayed that cross then david stern made a new gayass rule so that it was dubbed a carry...

  • i'd pay 2 see that!
